Happy birthday to the woman who gave me life and has spent her own life making mine worth living. My mother, the soul of my soul, the flesh of my flesh, the bone of my bone. ❤️
You have given so much of yourself to make sure we had what we needed. You have carried burdens that I may never fully understand, made sacrifices that perhaps we will only come to appreciate with time, and poured from your own cup so that ours would never be empty. You have stretched yourself in a million different directions, finding ways to cater for six children, to nurture us, to protect us, to guide us, and to love each of us in ways only a mother can. And through it all, you have continued to give, even when giving must have cost you something.
My mother, my first home, my first experience of love. The woman whose body became my first shelter, whose womb was my first world, and whose heartbeat was the first song I ever knew. Before I knew the meaning of love, I was already loved by you. Before I ever saw the light of this world, you had already given so much of yourself to bring me into it.
the vessel through which Allah gave me life. And sometimes, I wonder if the word mother is even enough to describe you, because how do I fit a lifetime of sacrifice, an ocean of love, and a thousand unspoken prayers into just six letters?

If there is one thing I wish for you in this lifetime, it is that life gives back to you in abundance. That the years ahead are gentle with you. That Allah rewards you for every sacrifice, every sleepless night, every silent worry, every prayer whispered for your children, and every burden you carried so we could stand a little taller. May He grant you the kind of happiness that settles deep in your soul, the kind of peace that asks nothing of you, and the kind of love that makes you feel as cherished as you have always made us feel. I love you so much 🥹❤️🎉 by @official_eemah
