22/07/2026 — My Last Day in Foundation School

I’m grateful to my parents and teachers for making my foundation years so memorable. I learned so much, made wonderful friends, and I’m proud of everything I’ve learned and achieved so far.

Looking back, it feels like a full circle moment. Swipe to see my first day in school.

I remember being so confused about leaving home for a few hours and being surrounded by strange tots and teachers. I cried, threw up all over the class and eventually went home in my underwear! 😭😂

For a few days, I was even called “Daddy’s Boy” because I kept calling out for my dad while crying. 🤣

But somehow, school became a place I loved going to and looked forward to every day.

During my Foundation years, I:
🏆 Won Neatest Boy in my class
🎭 Took part in class plays and dramas
📖 Learned to read and write
🇫🇷 Took French lessons and can now speak a little French
🤝 Made new friends and learned how to work and play with others

Foundation School was a beautiful experience, and I’m excited for what comes next.

Here’s to many more years of learning, growing and making memories. ❤️

Happy 2nd birthday to my little munchkin, the one I call Kambili, Chisimdi, Chidimma and Star girl!

The one who was destined to be here against all odds.

The one that calls me mummy a million times in a day

The one that uses her cute face to negotiate her way out all the time .

The one that puts me on the spotlight wherever we go together, I mean look at her, her energy is so contagious that I’m often forced to interact with people when I don’t plan to.

The one that renewed and affirmed my faith in God and humanity.

The one that makes neighbors know I’m around (as an African child, you should know this line 😂)

The one that fights for her right no matter how down she is… no, you can’t shut her down or have your way without a fight.

The one that says the most soothing ‘Hello’ to everyone. You should hope for that, atleast once in your lifetime. You’d see the difference.

My best girl, happy birthday to you! I wish you nothing short of God’s grace, love, blessings and protection.
Shine bright and brightest .

May the odds align perfectly in your favor.
