Today I stepped up a division to challenge myself! I’ve just turned 10, and all my opponents were 13 years old — but I gave it my all and managed to pin and win every single match! Hard work truly pays off. Alhamdulillah for everything! 🔥🔥🔥

NSW State Championships — What. A. Day.

I stepped onto the mats in two tough divisions and came out with a Gold in my age group 9 year olds and a Silver in the 10 & 11-year-old division. 🥇🥈

One of the most unforgettable moments was going head-to-head with @carterthomasbjj — one of the toughest competitors I’ve ever faced and arguably one of the best in the country. I gave it everything I had and left it all on the mat. He came out on top this time, and I’ve got nothing but respect. That gold was well earned. 👏

But this journey? It’s bigger than medals.

It’s about stepping into the fire, challenging ourselves, learning from every battle, and rising stronger each time we fall. Every match sharpens us. Every opponent teaches us. Every setback fuels the comeback.

And now? It’s back to work. Back to the grind, training 15 to 16 hours a week.

Onwards. Upwards. Always. 💪🔥 by @official_teamwarwar

State champion once again!!!!!! by @official_teamwarwar

And what a year it was, 2 national titles, flights around Australia, multiple gold medals. Ending the year with injury. This year, I'm coming back stronger and better and on the road to the worlds in Dubai!!!! by @official_teamwarwar

Today i went up into the yellow belt division and finished both matches in less than 1 minute, I am proud of my effort, considering I was not meant to fight today due to injury, but i still brang home the gold, Alhomdoliah. Today was also my dads first ever comp. He has only been training for 6 months and he also brang home the gold. by @official_teamwarwar

Today at the summer bjj cup, I went up a division in the above 45kg. It was a tough day considering they were all at least 7kg heavier than me. Won all but one match. The last match going for gold was 0-0 with no avavatage points given to me or my opponent , and it came down to reff's call. Alhomdoliah took home the silver.

Thank you to @get.pressed1 for always making my gi's the best on the mats. by @official_teamwarwar
