Yeah, I know, I’m slow!! ⬇️⬇️

But things are moving forward, and now they’ll start moving even faster.

I’m working on the molds and models for the new wing and splitter.

In this video, you can see how the 3D design is turning into reality. The black parts are the finished molds for the carbon holders.

Next, you can see the inner trapezoid—the shape that will give the wing incredible strength.

In the next shot, you can see both lower sections of the wing, and in the final shot, both upper sections of both wings.

Ladies and gentlemen, I’ve seen many ways of manufacturing wings around the world.

What you see here in the video is what’s been running through my head during long nights over the past year—and now I actually have it in my hands! This is my wing-building process.

Sometimes it’s extremely demanding, but I love it!

Splitter and Wing Progress💥

Yesterday we visited @official_tuning_lab_ , and this beauty was waiting for us there. A CNC-milled model for producing wing molds and a new splitter design.

Both parts have undergone CFD optimization and are designed for maximum aerodynamic efficiency, but also to be usable for the widest possible range of applications.

When a customer requests CFD optimization for their car, we strive to do so in a way that allows them to use our parts. Of course, one reason is, logically, our profit from selling the parts. I say this completely honestly. But it also saves the customer from having to develop parts exclusively for their car at 5–10 times the price.

To give you an idea, the development of this splitter—including CFD optimization, model production, mold production, and the production of the first unit—costs approximately $20,900.

So if a universal part works on the customer’s car model, that slight drop in efficiency—just a few percent—is a small price to pay for the customer not having to pay $20,000, but perhaps only $3,000–$4,000 for a ready-made part!

Konečně jsme tenhle projekt viděli na hotovým autě 🙏

E46 v G87 looku se poprvé ukázala v Chebu na závodech od Drift Corporation

Byla to první akce, kde byl kit venku a rozhodně ne poslední.
Budeme ho brát i na další závody během sezóny, tak kdo nestihl tak bude ještě šance 👀🔥
