Let’s stop lying to ourselves…

Entrepreneurship is not aesthetic or vibes
It’s not soft.
And it’s definitely not for everyone.

Behind every “soft life” you see online off entrepreneurship is:
• Pressure
• Risk
• Uncertainty
• Hard decisions nobody talks about

We’ve glamorized this thing too much. And it has led to upcoming entrepreneurs building castle on the air

Build if you’re ready for the truth.
Not the fantasy. Entrepreneurship is Hard!!! by @officialandrew360

Proximity to success is not success.

Being in the room doesn’t mean you own a seat at the table.

Knowing successful people doesn’t make you successful.
Being around power doesn’t make you powerful.
Having access to opportunities doesn’t mean you have the capacity to create your own.

And that’s the danger of proximity.

It can make you feel like you’re progressing when you’re only standing close to progress.

You can borrow the language, confidence, lifestyle and even identity of the people around you without doing the work that created their reality.

Use proximity to learn, observe and gain access.

But don’t let proximity become your destination.

Build your own skills.
Your own network.
Your own money.
Your own track record.

Build personal motion.

Because when the room changes and the access disappears, you should still be moving.

Being near the engine is not the same as having horsepower.

Everybody wants success until they meet the workload that comes with it.

Everybody wants the money, the recognition, the freedom, and the lifestyle. But how many are willing to do the work when nobody is watching? To remain consistent when the excitement fades and keep building long before the results become visible?

A lot of people don’t lack the desire to succeed. They underestimate the demands of the success they desire.

The uncomfortable truth is that your future is being shaped by decisions you consider insignificant today.

Every time you choose discipline over convenience, growth over comfort, and execution over endless planning, you’re influencing the person you become tomorrow.

Those decisions compound.

So don’t just ask yourself what you want to become. Ask yourself whether your daily habits agree with your ambition.

Wanting success is easy. Becoming the person capable of sustaining it is the real work. 🔥

Luck is often the compounded effect of your efforts finally meeting an opportunity.
People look at successful people and say, “That person is lucky.”
But they rarely see the years of preparation, the failed attempts, the skills developed in silence, and the doors knocked on before that one opportunity finally showed up.
They see the breakthrough, but not the build-up.
They see the result, but not the repetition.
And because they didn’t witness the process, they mistake the outcome for luck.

Of course, hard work doesn’t guarantee every outcome. But it increases your chances of being ready when opportunity comes knocking.
Stop waiting to get lucky. Build yourself into someone who can recognise an opportunity, seize it, and make the most of it.

THE DANGER OF YES MEN

There is a certain kind of person(s) who can become very dangerous to you without ever wishing you harm.

The person who always agrees with you I call them “YES MEN.” They agree with you not because you are always right But because they have become too afraid, too comfortable, too dependent, or too loyal to challenge you and that is where the danger begins.

The Danger of Yes Men.

Because when everyone around you says yes, you slowly lose the ability to hear no.

You make a questionable decision — “That’s the right move.”

You have a terrible idea — “This is genius.”

You mishandle a situation — “You did nothing wrong.” “Everybody knows what they are doing” “Justt leave” “protect your peace”

Someone gives you honest criticism — “They’re just jealous.”

And before long, you’re no longer surrounded by people who sharpen your thinking, you’re surrounded by people who protect your version of reality and i promise you as someone that has been there that is a very dangerous place to live.

Because the more successful you become, the harder it becomes to find people willing to tell you the truth.

The people closest to you may know you’re wrong and still tell you you’re right not because they hate you, but because they love what they get from being close to you.

So ask yourself:

Who around me can tell me I’m wrong?

Who can challenge my thinking without me taking it personal?

Who can disagree with me and still remain in my corner?

And perhaps the most uncomfortable question:

Have I surrounded myself with people who challenge me… or people I have trained to agree with me?

Because sometimes, the problem isn’t that you have too many yes-men.

The problem is that you’ve become someone people are afraid to say no to.

Build a circle where truth is more valuable than comfort and ego. You don’t need people who constantly tell you you’re right, You need people who care enough to tell you when you’re wrong before the world does.

Not everyone clapping for you is helping you grow.

Liquidity is king. 👑

You can have the right idea, the right network, the right opportunity and even the right execution plan but if you don’t have the liquidity to finance the move, the opportunity can pass you by.

And that’s one of the most expensive lessons in business.

Sometimes the difference between “I saw the opportunity” and “I took the opportunity” is simply cash available at the right time.

A distressed asset comes to market.
A great property is available below market value.
A business needs urgent capital.
A supplier gives you an opportunity to buy at a better price.
A strategic partnership opens up.

But you need money now.

Not money you expect next month.
Not money tied up in another investment.
Not money that somebody promised to send you.

Liquidity basically.

This is why building wealth isn’t only about making money. It’s also about keeping enough of your money liquid enough to move when the right opportunity appears.

Because opportunities don’t always knock when you’re financially ready.

Sometimes they show up when you’re fully invested, overleveraged, or cash-strapped.

And when that happens, you don’t lose because you didn’t see the opportunity.

You lose because you couldn’t finance your ability to act on it.

Build assets.
Build businesses.
Build investments.

But don’t forget to build liquidity.

Because sometimes, the biggest opportunity of your life isn’t the one you find…

It’s the one you can actually afford to take. 💰

One of the hardest things a man can do is walk away from something that is still working or leaving when the applause is loud, the money is good, the recognition is high and everybody is calling your name and wondering what you’ll do next.

Because sometimes, the hardest exit isn’t from something that broke you, It’s from something that is still feeding you.

And that’s where wisdom comes in.

You have to know the difference between a season that is ending and a season you are simply afraid to leave.

I’ve learned that not every door needs to slam shut before you walk through another one.

Some doors should be left while they’re still wide open while your name still carries weight, while your value is undeniable, while the applause is still loud.

Because if you stay long enough, the same room that once celebrated you can eventually start taking you for granted.

Build. Win. Make your mark. Then leave before the applause becomes expectation.

Sometimes the most powerful way to end a chapter is to leave while everyone is still asking you to stay. by @officialandrew360

Bro to Bro:

The higher you desire to go, the sharper you have to become. More intelligent. More calculated. More strategic. More ruthless with your decisions.

Men who never lose their innocence rarely develop the gravitational pull of a man who has been tested by reality.

There is a different presence in a man who has seen power, business, friendship, love, pain, loss, blood, freedom, legacy and brotherhood — and survived them all without losing himself.

Experience strips you of naivety. Pain teaches you discernment. Loss teaches you risk. Business teaches you options. Life teaches you that outcomes matter more than intentions.

You fail when you believe there is only one way to play the game.

Study the board.
Know your options.
Understand the risk.
Move with precision.

Stay principled, but never be naive. Stay calm, but never be soft.

The world feels different when you stop asking “What are the rules?” and start asking:

“What are my options?”

A lot of people want to make the BIG money.

But very few stop to ask:

“How can I make and accumulate the small money consistently?”

Because ₦5k once is not the same as ₦5k every day.

That’s where the real power of cashflow comes in.

The goal isn’t always to find that one big transaction that will make you rich overnight.

Mosttimes, it is finding a transaction that makes you a little money and can happen again, again and again.

Because:

Small money + consistency + time = BIG money.

So don’t just ask:

“How can I make big money?”

Start asking:

“What can I do to make money consistently?”

That question can change the way you look at business opportunities.

Love, peace and cashflow. 💙💰 by @officialandrew360

Happy birthday my guy💙

I’ve seen you navigate life in a way that, if I were watching from the outside, I’d be one of your biggest fans.

Through every season when you got things done, stood up for yourself and others, stretched beyond your limits, watered yourself and those around you, won, lost, and even lost yourself while trying to find others I’m so proud of you.

You are and will always be that guy.

Happy Birthday idan mi 🙌🏽💙

Thrive continually and grow in every area of life. 🥂

Cheers to greatness. 🥂🥂
