Mayor Parker says data informed her decision to keep burning our trash in Chester.

So we looked at her data, and what did we find? 👀

The “study” the Parker Administration spent our tax dollars on is nothing more than a spreadsheet comparing an imaginary incinerator to an imaginary landfill.

But Mayor Parker isn’t asking City Council to make an imaginary decision. She wants us to vote to keep burning ACTUAL trash at an ACTUAL incinerator that impacts our ACTUAL health.

Luckily we have a REAL study, and its results are crystal clear: burning trash at Reworld’s Chester incinerator and landfilling the toxic ash this produces is 23 times worse for human health than landfilling unburned trash in Philly-area landfills. That’s according to a quantitative Life Cycle Assessment completed by scientists for Delaware County.

Fake studies can’t hide the truth: it isn’t safe for us or our planet to keep burning trash in Chester.

Tell your Councilmember to say no to Mayor Parker’s plan to turn our trash into toxic air and ash. by @officialbiggadre
