Condolences To The Family Of Joe Patterson

Chairman Ronnie Millar wishes to pass on the deepest sympathies to the family of Joe Patterson who has sadly passed away earlier this week (11th Oct)
Joe was a right back for Crusaders from 1962-1968 and was fondly remembered as part of the Irish Cup winning side in 1967 when they brought the cup back to Seaview for the first time ever before moving on to Distillery in 1968. Joe also won the Co. Antrim Shield with Crusaders in 1964/65.
Ronnie has asked that we keep the family in our thoughts and prayers as they lay Joe to rest on Friday at 11.30am from St. Patricks Church Donegall Street and that we also keep them in our thoughts in the weeks ahead. ❤🖤 by @officialcrusadersfc

🔴⚫ Academy Structure Update ⚫🔴

On Thursday 8th October, we met with coaches from every age group to roll out our new Academy structure, designed to give every player, parent and coach a better, more consistent experience at the club.

What’s changing? Every age group now has two dedicated points of contact:
⚽ One focused purely on the on-pitch side: coaching and player development
📋 One looking after everything off the pitch: operations, scouting, organisation and support

We’re delighted to welcome Adam Carson and Matt McKinstry into their roles. They join an already strong and experienced team of Paul Boyle, Heather Mearns and Chris Chambers, led by Academy Manager Jonny Tuffey.

The future is bright at Crusaders, and we’re excited to see this structure help our coaches and players reach the next level. 💪
