POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

2012. Madison Square Garden. New York Knicks.

That night hit different — playing on an NBA floor, in front of my family, in the Garden… and feeling my game elevate because of everything I’d been through: overseas runs, D League/G League grind, different coaches, different systems, different cultures.

In my mind, I knew it might be my last NBA moment if it didn’t work out. So I soaked up every second. And I’m grateful for every team I played for, every coach who poured into me, and every relationship the game gave me.

Now I’m stepping into the next chapter: taking everything I learned and giving it back to the next generation.

My scouting platform drops September 1st on YouTube and across all socials. New season. New beginnings.

And to all my close friends (especially the one’s that were shootin’ wit me in the gym) and everyone who’s supported me over the years , thank you. I hope you continue to support me as this next chapter begins.

Recently my son asked me to help him learn how to play basketball… and it hit me in a real way.

In that moment I felt grateful. Not because I “know the game,” but because I get to share something I love with someone I love. He’s a natural athlete, but he’s at the very beginning stages right now learning the fundamentals, learning how to move, how to balance, how to see the floor, how to build real habits. Watching that process up close is exciting.

And it also reminded me why I train in the first place. To all the parents out there: I genuinely love working with the next generation and paying it forward. I work with all ages of hoopers from first-timers learning the basics to serious players sharpening details and confidence.

If you’re looking for skills training for your child (or for yourself), my training link is in my bio. Let’s build the right way. #edgeacademyatl #gaintheedge #ihavemyphdinbasketball #lifetimefitness #sandysprings taken in Sandy Springs, Georgia by @officialdevingreen

Every rep, every breakdown, every conversation is coming straight from real experience. The wins, the losses, the film sessions, the travel, the pressure, the details that separate “good” from “ready.”

Watching young players apply it and level up in real time is one of the best parts of my journey. Let’s work.

I’ve always believed the real basketball story lives behind the story. Behind the points. Behind the clips. Behind the “made it.”

I’m married to this game. It raised me, tested me, took me around the world, and gave me people I’ll call family forever. And now I feel the shift happening — a real one. A lot of dawgs are coming back to pour into the next generation and teach the right way: details, discipline, IQ, toughness, love for the work.

That’s what @edgeacademyatl is about. Not hype. Not shortcuts. Just the craft, the mindset, and the standards that travel anywhere the game is played. This is a resurgence of basketball geniuses… and I’m grateful to be part of it. #edgeacademyatl #gaintheedge #gte #nba #hbcualumni by @officialdevingreen
