Swipe 👈🏽 My brothers Sway @realsway and Doug E. Fresh @therealdougefresh came together to share an important message about heart health and why taking care of our hearts matters in our community.

This is bigger than a conversation—it’s about awareness, taking action, and looking out for one another. I’m committed to keeping this message going and making sure our community has the information we need to protect our heart health.

Know your heart. Know the signs. Don’t pass on your heart health.. check out the LINK IN BIO #heartdisease #hearthealth #sway #docice #dougefresh by @officialdocice

HISTORY LESSON!!! What WHODINI and UTFO has done as pioneers of this culture can not be ignored, swept under a rug, or should never be forgotten.
Among other firsts, Whodini Jalil @jalil.whodini & RIP Ex is the very FIRST rap group to hire dancers as part of their stage performance. Me and Kangol Kid RIP were those dancers (a year and a half, before releasing “Roxanne, Roxanne”). This brilliant idea of Whodini later became a rap show standard.
Every rap act thereafter had to have two or more dancers on their set. Most famous were Big Daddy Kane’s @officialbigdaddykane Scoob & Scrap, Heavy D and the Boyz...and more. However, history tends to forget where this Hip-Hop trend began. As you view this clip, please understand that in 1983, this may have been the FIRST TIME many of these Europeans in this audience had ever seen rap and break dancing performed LIVE. What you are witnessing here is the beginning of how Hip-Hop became a worldwide culture. I’ve unfortunately learned that there is no glory in humbly keeping your mouth shut. That will only result in people creating their own versions only result in people creating their own versions of what really happened in Hip-Hop. Therefore, unlike what we allowed to happen with Rock and Roll...While we are still alive, it is our responsibility to make sure that the origins of this culture are properly documented. #UTFO #whodini #oldschoolhiphop #hiphop #docice by @officialdocice
