Hello Monday!

Today I want to rant but yet encourage someone 🥹

Some lessons have become too real lately ....

After the death of my beloved mum, something died in me, everything literally died! Vision, purpose, friends, loved ones, businesses, career pursuit, creative juice, everything went blank, darkness became my day, Life became very void!! Loneliness became very loud, I became an island.

In that moment I understood one statement my mum would say to me each time I am sweating out, running late nights on pro-bono projects especially not personal ones, programs, even attending to people I care about, closely related or not, OfficialkellySmart will have a way of showing support, solidarity and credence.
Sometimes I appear too available, accessible, and unburdened with personal stuffs. Sometimes when I decline or plead unavailable eyebrows are raised 🙌 😊

So my mum would say "eshi ihi mere gi, k' i g aghota si na ni gi kwu"( the day you have a problem you will know that you are all alone )

I came to that junction of my life when I needed to feel loved because I didn't know what it was anymore, I felt hated!! It really felt like it!!
Every single day I kept fighting to keep sane,
No visitors (this was almost normal because I don't unusually have visitors come home) No calls, No reassuring texts (from certain persons I would never have left in such a moment alone)
I locked myself up for weeks.
My WhatsApp status and Ai became my friends

I had very few but solid people who had reached out to me, some calls and texts came as a surprise too. I kept hearing, " Take it easy, don't stay alone(yet I have stayed alone all this while), you need to stand and bury your mum!!
every day was a fight to stay sane because I knew I had a burial..
It was the only breathing project I had to undertake.
So I pulled the best of energy I could.

Why??? BECAUSE CERTAIN PEOPLE REACHED OUT!!

Will continue this rant tomorrow......🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
