Becoming a mother to my girls has changed me in ways I never expected. My girls are still so little, yet somehow they’ve already reshaped my heart, my mindset, and the way I move through life. They’ve shown me my strengths, exposed the places I still need to grow, and reminded me how powerful love can be. Because of them, I’ve learned to stop accepting less than I deserve. I’ve found a deeper confidence, a fiercer voice, and a courage that only comes from knowing little eyes are watching me become the example they’ll follow.My daughters will always have a safe place in me 💗 someone who will protect them fiercely, love them endlessly, and remind them who they are when the world gets loud. But I’ll also push them to grow, to be brave, kind, confident, and never shrink themselves for anyone.The greatest gift of motherhood so far has been realizing that while I’m raising them, they’re raising me too. April Dump (Birthday Edition): Life has been life-ing lately, but I’m so thankful for my family and friends. The constant love and support throughout this hard season has been amazing.To my husband, thank you for making my entire birthday weekend so special and memorable. From surprising me after work with personalized shirts to taking me to see one of my favorite artists in concert (had the time of my life)😩 Still can’t believe he picked out their outfits, got them dressed, AND got the bows/barrettes to match (IYKYK-I don’t play about my girls and their bows😂).To my parents, thank you for driving 8 hours to see me for my bday and bringing me a cake from one of the best bakeries in NOLA. A taste of home is always needed 🥹😋To my family, thank you for all the text messages and unexpected birthday gifts. Also, taking care of my babies while hubby and I enjoy our kid-free time. It means more to me than you know 🎉To my close friends, thank you for the phone calls, for getting me out the house, for taking care of my babies, for inviting me to my first solidcore class (😩😩iykyk), for celebrating me, for making one of my fav desserts.
