This was the first time I used the @sagolaofficial 3600 XPT Basecoat gun and I’ll let the reel tell you what I think about it 🤔

I am spraying @officialoctoral waterbase 👍

DON’T FOLLOW ME IF……

Don’t follow me if you’re looking for clickbait or someone who’s constantly trying to start an argument… because you won’t find that here.

Don’t follow me if you only want to see the highlights. This is real life, and sometimes things don’t go to plan. I share those moments because they’re part of the job.

And don’t follow me if you expect every repair to look perfect from start to finish. That’s not reality.

But do follow me…

If you enjoy honest, no-nonsense content.

If you’ve ever picked up a tip, technique or product recommendation that’s made your job a little easier.

And finally, to everyone who already follows, comments, shares and supports what I do… thank you. Every like, every message and every comment means more than you probably realise.

None of it goes unnoticed.

For all of you who love to see a little clear coat action.

I’m also loving the finishes I’m getting from both the @uniceltec Nexion antistatic gun and the @sagola.uk HEX

If you want any information on any of the products or my setup, just pop it in the comments below ⬇️ and I’ll come back to you 👍

What do you think?

Laying down the first coat of @officialoctoral C600 clear using the @sagola.uk HEX

I’ve had to dial the fluid settings in a bit but i absolutely love the finish it delivers 🏆

MUSTANG Dash Repair

Comment MUSTANG for some product links 🔗

This roaring beast of a Mustang sadly had a 5p size damage to the dash, just below the glove box.

I removed the GB, sanded back and feathered out the damage before apply some @officialoctoral PW170 etching primer over the exposed metal and then refinished it using @refinishcoatings interior systems that is available through @morelligroupltd in the uk 👍

I’m using @kovaxeurope 600 super Assilex to Sand the area and @q1_refinishing_solutions to mask up and double side foam pad to prep the area

The colour was applied using a @meijiair_international F55 0.8 spray gun

Thanks to my wife Sarah for the voiceover because I loathe mine this week 🤦🏻

Comment C600

I often get asked what clear coat or spraygun I am using when I’m refinishing a repair.

The clear coat never changes, it’s the C600 2:1 from @officialoctoral and the reasons I like to are:
It can be air dried
It cures quickly
I never had any gloss drop issues with it
It lays down nicely

What does change though is the spraygun and that’s all about my mood and the size of the job.

If you need to know anything more, please either ask me in the comments and that also helps others or send me a dm 👍
