DISCLAIMER!!!

My attention has been drawn to a despicable and malicious publication, on my affiliation and support for Yusuf Ahmadu Yunusa a.k.a Buhu Barkonun, who staged a counter protest in support of the already disbanded SARS and further gave a 48 hours ultimatum to the peaceful #ENDSARS protesters to vacate the streets of the FCT or face an attack from members of his group.
I have also watched with disdain the release of pictures of my humble self and him all in a quest to drag my name into the whole drama.
Yunusa has a right to take pictures with me being my constituent, just like any other resident of the FCT.
However, that does not make him a member of my staff, aide or worker under my payroll.
You will recall, that I have lent my voice on the floor of the National Assembly, even in public glare, that I support the peaceful protest, as being organized by the Nigerian youths, in a view to end Police Brutality and other necessary demands that they are agitating for.
I will continue to serve the best interest of my people, The FCT and in extension, our great Nation Nigeria.
I have instituted necessary actions, to further prove, that he acted in his personal capacity, ultra vires to the demands of my constituents, and has attracted to himself negative attention.
Continue to have assurances of my highest esteem and best regards..

PS: Find enclosed my presentation on the floor of the Senate, in support of the #ENDSARS protest.
I stand with you all, my people.

SENATOR PHILIP TANIMU ADUDA( MFR) by @officialphilipaduda

Yesterday in plenary, I rejected the ministerial list sent by mr President and insisted the list must capture a nominee from FCT in line with the Federal high court appeal judgment of 15th January 2018, National Assembly unanimous resolution/recommendation in 2019 and also the recommendation from Public Complaints Commission recently.

I was deeply humbled by the overwhelming love and solidarity shown to me today at the FCT Stakeholders’ Assembly Rally at the Old Parade Ground, Abuja.

I sincerely appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his support for FCT development, and the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, for his confidence in my return to the Senate.

I commend the Minister’s commitment to infrastructure development across the FCT and appreciate the President’s decision to remove the FCT from the Treasury Single Account (TSA), strengthening the Territory’s capacity to accelerate development.

I also sincerely appreciate the Honourable Minister for his promise to facilitate SUV vehicles for our traditional rulers and his approval of four buses to support youth mobilisation. These gestures demonstrate a commitment to strengthening our traditional institutions and empowering our youths.

To the good people of the FCT, my commitment remains unwavering. I will continue to champion effective representation, people-oriented legislation, and initiatives that improve lives across our communities.

Your trust is my responsibility, and your welfare remains my priority. Together, we will build a better FCT!

I commend the Minister for his prompt approval of the construction of the Kuje–Sabo–Yenche–Rubochi Road, linking to Abaji, in response to the concerns raised by our people. This is a welcome step towards improving connectivity and driving development across our communities.

My commitment remains to purposeful leadership, inclusive engagement, and stronger collaboration across party lines to deliver meaningful development for the people of the FCT.

Today in Bwari, I joined the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, and other political stakeholders at an interactive session of the Rainbow Coalition.

The engagement provided an opportunity to strengthen cooperation across party lines, engage community leaders, and discuss key issues affecting our people, particularly road infrastructure and development in Bwari Area Council.

I sincerely appreciate the Honourable Minister for his confidence in me and for the appointment of Hon. Julius Adamu, as Chairman of the FCT Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB). This gesture further demonstrates the value of political understanding, inclusiveness, and cooperation.

As we look towards 2027, I remain committed to working with all stakeholders to strengthen unity, deepen collaboration, and advance the interests of FCT residents.
