I recently had the opportunity to work with Eddie Edmonds and his son QHeem The Redeemed on a new project that’s coming to YouTube soon.There’s a clip where Deacon Edmonds speaks about having a Solid Foundation, and honestly, it hit me in a way I wasn’t expecting.As many of you know, I’m agnostic. I don’t view the world through a traditional Christian lens. But I’ve always believed that wisdom can come from many places, and this message was one of those moments.The way he explained a solid foundation wasn’t something I only heard as a religious concept. I heard it as a life concept.To me, a solid foundation is family. It’s values. It’s character. It’s having principles that keep you grounded when life gets difficult. It’s what allows you to weather storms, setbacks, losses, and challenges without completely falling apart.It resonated with me because “Solid Foundation” is also the name of the group I have with my children when we make music together. So hearing him explain it the way he did made me reflect on why that name means so much to me.Whether you’re talking about faith, family, business, relationships, or personal growth, everything starts with the foundation. If the foundation is strong, you can build something meaningful on top of it.I may not share every belief, but I can absolutely appreciate a message that speaks to purpose, stability, and building something that lasts.This was one of those messages. #SolidFoundation #FamilyFirst #PurposeDriven #BuildingLegacy #RealConversations by @officialqheem

Sometimes the most important conversations happen when people don’t all see the world the same way. 🎙️💭Me, Nay, and QHeem sat down and talked about questioning the Bible, loving one another, and the difference between religion and relationships.No attacks. No debates to “win.” Just honest perspectives, mutual respect, and a conversation about finding common ground despite different beliefs.At the end of the day, love, understanding, and respect go a long way. by @officialqheem
