Celebrating the victories of the challenges I’m facing in recovery. In this video, this is me a few months ago. As you can see the muscle in my right shoulder was nonexistent at the time. And while today, my shoulder isn’t necessarily 100% yet, it looks and feels much better than it did at the time this video was taken. It’s getting stronger and my arms are getting stronger. I can now lift myself up off the bed, not all the way yet, but I’m working towards it. Gaining back my independence by rebuilding my upper body strength is my immediate goal. I’m doing up to 100 reps of 10 pound dumbbell bench and shoulder press and curls a day. I think it’s important to mention that I’m grateful and thankful for the little victories on this journey to recovery. James 2:17 says “thus also, faith by itself if it does not have works, it’s dead.” I’ve been putting in the work to go along with my faith. I am more than a conqueror and I will gain back my independence. 🚨”I WAS ALWAYS A BELIEVER, BUT THIS INCREASED MY FAITH”— Quinton Aaron (known for playing Michael Oher in The Blind Side) recently shared in a TMZ interview that he had a spiritual encounter with Jesus Christ while in a medically induced coma.

In January 2026, Aaron suffered complications from a severe infection in his foot, which led to a spinal stroke where he was hospitalized for months, intubated, placed on life support, and remained in a 4-day coma.

He noted that he had always been a believer but this experience removed any fear of death for him 🙏
