I’ve been fairly quiet this year, whilst taking a lot of time to self reflect and really hone in on my inner talents. I appreciate everyone that still rocks with me after all this time and inconsistency while I try to figure out my creative process. In the meantime I will be posting a bunch of archived content for you guys as well as some newer/old stuff I just haven’t posted yet. Here’s some edits from my phone from our networking party at @tre_studios if you’re an ontarien artist/creative and need any recording done, or podcasts done, Tre is the place to be. It’s got a really great atmosphere and energy to it, I promise you won’t be disappointed. by @officialunmatchedenergy

It’s been a while since I’ve really posted photos and to be honest that’s because I had taken a bit of a mental break to decompress over the last few years of back to back shows. I don’t expect most of yall to read this whole thing but I feel obligated to at least connect with you guys some way, somehow. I took a step back because to be quite frank, my local music scene hasn’t really had my back in the same ways that I had theirs, meaning eventually I had to cut ties, re-center myself and really think about how I want to portray myself as a photographer, friend, and business person. I’m taking this summer to enjoy myself, as well as rework my work ethics and really hone in on my art to find the joy in it again. Unfortunately locally, the joy was sucked right out of me and I turned into a mean, nasty, resentful individual. Leading me to hurt others whom didn’t deserve it in the process and creating an intense amount of inner shame, seeing as that was not who I wanted to be in the slightest. It really messed with my spirits, soul and my mind got extremely clouded. That being said, I’ve been really working on getting into tunnel vision mode and only focusing on my inner strengths, peace, as well as my close circle. I’m hoping by the end of fall, I will start rolling out my archived mess of photo albums. Please bear with me, I promise the wait will be worth it and if anyone ever wants to do some shoots locally, dm me and we can work something out hopefully :) Anyways, I really appreciate anyone who took the time to read this all the way through. I don’t express myself often anymore but I’m trying to get back to my strong but - capable to be vulnerable - self. Most of yous that talk to me via DM (you know who yous are), are literally one of the reasons I’m still here pushing forward and going for my dreams. If you’ve ever had a conversation with my in my DMs on here or showed support of any kind by reposting me, liking my comments, anything and everything never goes unnoticed I promise. I’ve just been through a shit ton in the last few years and became fairly quiet and reserved. I love you all so much. Thank you for believing in me when I couldn’t see it myself. ~JJ by @officialunmatchedenergy
