Introduced in 1969, the Dino 246 GT was created in honor of Alfredo “Dino” Ferrari, Enzo Ferrari’s son, whose vision for a lightweight V6 engine helped shape the future of Ferrari before his untimely passing. Unlike other Ferraris of its era, the Dino was initially sold without the famous Ferrari badge, establishing its own identity as a more accessible yet uncompromising sports car.

At its heart lies a 2.4-liter naturally aspirated V6 producing around 195 horsepower, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. While those numbers may seem modest by today’s standards, the Dino’s lightweight construction, perfectly balanced mid-engine layout, and beautifully communicative steering deliver one of the purest driving experiences ever created.
