🎧💜 DOUBT — Kathy Lockheart 💜🎧

I’m only HALFWAY through this audiobook and I’m already listening like someone is holding a knife to MY throat. 😱

Kathy…

WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME?!

This Sinners & Saints series has been phenomenal, but Doubt has me in a full-on white-knuckle grip.

A woman found in the woods.

A bloody knife.

A dead body.

No memory.

And the one man who believes she’s innocent?

Her brother’s best friend.
A ruthless defence attorney.
Morally grey.
Protective as hell.

Ryker Kincaid.

Sir… I have questions. 👀

And the chemistry between Ryker and his girl?

🔥🔥🔥

But honestly, it’s the suspense that has me hooked. Every time I think I’ve got something figured out, Kathy throws another little bomb into the story and I’m sitting there like:

EXCUSE ME?! I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THAT. 😂

And then we have Thomas Oakley and Andi Arndt…

PHENOMENAL.

Their duet narration is absolutely pulling me into this story. The emotion, the tension, the danger… they are making this whole experience feel ridiculously immersive.

I’m genuinely at the point where I don’t want to stop listening because I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON. 😱

And I still have HALF a book to go.

Which means one of two things:

1. Kathy is about to emotionally destroy me.
2. Kathy is about to emotionally destroy me with style.

Probably both. 😂💜

I’ve followed this series in order and honestly?

Every book has given me another reason to stay.

But Doubt…

Yeah.

This one has its hands around my throat. 🎧🔥

And I haven’t even finished it yet. 😳

Kathy Lockheart, I would like a word.

Preferably after I’ve recovered. 😂🖤

For fans of the Lovelight series and The Christmas Tree Farm, this cozy Christmas romance by Valerie Bowman @valeriegbowman follows an overworked publicist who is snowed in at the Honeycrisp Orchard Inn with her nemesis, a sexy brewery owner, for the holidays.

The festive spirit, hot chocolate, and six feet of sparkling snowdrifts conspire to turn these enemies into lovers.

Maria never expected to spend Christmas in a small, snow-covered town—but a visit to her best friend Ellie’s Honeycrisp Orchard Inn turns into an unplanned holiday stay when a snowstorm leaves her stranded.

The inn feels like stepping into a holiday fairy tale, with twinkling lights, crackling fires, and garlands everywhere, yet Maria can’t help missing her big, loud Italian family. Adding to her frustrations? Jesse, the ruggedly handsome, annoyingly charming brewery owner, who seems to delight in pushing her buttons.

Jesse has enough on his plate managing his bar and helping the inn stay merry for the holidays, but he can’t seem to resist Maria’s city-girl sass. As snow continues to fall and their paths keep crossing, Maria finds herself drawn into the inn’s festive magic and Jesse himself, as he shows her the charm of slowing down and being present in the moment.

With stolen glances under mistletoe and sparks flying by the fireplace, the line between a holiday fling and something deeper blurs. But when the snow clears, will Maria follow her heart?

Perfect for anyone craving snow-kissed romance, holiday warmth, and happily-ever-after magic. Tropes:• Enemies to lovers• Forced proximity• City girl x country boy• Quirky locals• Small-town romance

Add this one to your holiday listen list! #holidayromancereads #audiobookstagram #cozyromance #hallmarkchristmasmovies by @offmicandi

My first Earphones of the @kirkusaudiobookreviews era, and what a great feeling. Especially so considering how much I loved narrating YOU WON’T GET FREE OF IT by Rachel Aviv, for @prhaudio. Thanks to director @thedeniselee for your support and presence. Thanks to @rsaviv for your sharp eye and strong heart as you wrote about these women’s experiences, their regrets, their pain, their deep love and their humanity.

If you read or listened to STRANGERS TO OURSELVES, you definitely want to add this to your list.

Finally thanks to Kirkus for spotlighting and celebrating audiobooks. 🎉 by @offmicandi

I wish this was a joke. Someone has been approaching indie authors pretending to be @offmicandi, on behalf of Lyric Audiobooks. I’m not sure what their end game is here - a phishing scam? some weird AI-voiced thing? WHO KNOWS. What I do know is: Lyric Audiobooks and our employees do not cold-email authors, so if you receive an email like this, please remain sceptical. Feel free to reach out to us directly here or via our website (linked in bio) if you’re uncertain.

Lyric Audiobooks® is a registered trademark and for that I am relieved because hopefully that means the domain they purchased (yep, they purchased the fake but eerily similar lyricSaudiobooks.com too), will be taken down swiftly. I’ve been in touch with our trademark lawyer but in the meantime, we wanted to issue this warning just in case anyone else is contacted.

Thank you to the authors who brought this to our attention immediately! 🙏 by @offmicandi

There’s just something about an audiobook narrated by Andi Arndt. ✨

Amy and I realized that we truly have Andi in our ears all the time and it’s always the best time. So naturally, we needed to spotlight some of our favorites— with a special nod to @vi_keeland and @penelopewardauthor as so much of our Andi ear candy is supplied through their incredible novels. 💗💗 taken in BOOKSTA by @offmicandi
