Footage of the #Mural I did in the #ChalkZone @AOTOFest last weekend. #OriginalArtwork by #JosephRivers tempera paint and chalk on a parking space. #TheRiversSystem #Abstract #Expressionism #Freestyle #Graffiti #TheMazeOfLife #ManInTheMaze #InTheSunshine sometimes I don’t know what I’m doing until I do it. This one has something to do with “talking up and talking down”, internal and external voices and how they affect our reality. ☀️ taken in Fort Lauderdale, Florida by @offplumbartist

“Lost in the Maze part 1: Spring Cleaning Cycle.” 28x24x5 paint markers on up-cycled dishwasher door. #OriginalArtwork by #JosephRivers. Photographed by @kungfubreakfast #ArtForSale #TheRiversSystem #ContemporaryArt #Abstract #Expressionism #ArtTherapy #OffPlumbArtist #OrganicLines #MappingMyMind #TheMazeOfLife. When one is used to living in states of fear based in trauma, feeling balanced and calm can feel foreign. Self-love may feel like selfishness. New shoes don’t always fit, right?! Sometimes you’ve got to break them in before you can wear them comfortably. ✌️❤️🌵 taken in Thrive District by @offplumbartist

#OriginalArtwork by #JosephRivers titled “Late Night Bar Scene: The Faces Experiment” 22”x28” spray paint, and @krinknyc ink marker on fluorescent pink posterboard. #TheRiversSystem #TheMazeOfLife #Trippy #PsychedelicArt #UVReactive #BlackLightArt #ExperimentalArt #ArtForSale #ContagiousInspiration
I made this around the time that I was bartending late nights in Fort Lauderdale. My original mission was to see how many faces I could capture in the original background layer. It ultimately organically became a direct reflection of the coworkers and regulars. What a crazy, chaotic, overly toxic scene it was! by @offplumbartist

“Shadow Work: Playing With Fire” 24”x24” paint marker and @krinknyc ink marker over #AcrylicPour on wood. #AbstractExpressionism #TheRiversSystem #DarkArt #Trippy #ShadowWork #Spirits #TheMazeOfLife #EnergyLines
“Shadow work is not like other work, in that it is dangerous. You have to have a firm foundation and identity to hunt the monsters inside of you. Shadow work is not like other work, in that you are not trying to set them free (the monsters), you are hunting them, and they are masters of disguise…” (Hyrum Feriante)

I just gifted this to someone really important to me. “Totem Pole #1” 2x6x5 acrylic and paint marker on wood. I made it to where you can still see faces either way that you flip it. I’m taking commissions. If anyone would like one shoot me a dm. #OriginalArtwork by #JosephRivers #OffPlumbArtist #TheRiversSystem #TotemPole #Faces #EnergyLines #TheMazeOfLife #AbstractExpressionism #ContagiousInspiration #TrippyArt taken in Okeechobee, Florida by @offplumbartist
