Waiting patiently for wedding film at the moment ... trusting the best over at @northeastphotographic . I didn't trust myself to develop such a beautiful night especially since I haven't developed B&W in years and since I botched my C-41 film from the Phillies game. You live and you learn. Love is love always. Everyone deserves a happy ending.

I spent a lot of time hating myself for who I was. I felt different for most of my life and didn't know why. I was the tomboy who was able to put on a façade at times. And then when I realized why I felt I didn't "fit in"—I was terrified. Terrified of coming out and terrified of embracing myself. I hid my first relationship and breakup and for almost two years I silently suffered through it. I lied to myself and told myself it was just a phase, a fluke, and it wouldn't happen again. I told myself I was "normal". But there is no normal. And it did happen again. Because loving who we love isn't a choice or a lifestyle, no matter how many people believe it to be.

You may not understand pride fully. But the part that I do get and will always advocate for is that no one should suffer alone & in silence for being themselves. That isn't political, it's human.
