For our last DJ intro, we have Milkpaste!

Milkpaste is an Eora-based DJ with a record collection that spans bossa nova to dub techno. A decade deep in the booths across Adelaide and Sydney, her daytime sets lean into midtempo chuggers and protohouse, while late nights pivot to hypnotic techno, electro, and acid. She’s supported Lil Louis, Jayda G, Fred P, Boris, Hiroko Yamamura, and Soichi Terada.

We asked Milkpaste for a track she’s excited to play on a Sunday afternoon, and she brought out Crystal Babe by Ajello from an Andrew Weatherall Compilation. We love its chuggy vibe, and can’t wait to hear more of her collection in at Off The Record ✨

We’re very excited to be throwing the first dance party at The Living Room Theatre - a not-for-profit independent arts space supporting artists and live performance, from theatre and jazz to experimental work and beyond.

🍸 THE BAR
The venue will be running the bar all afternoon, with proceeds helping support the space and its artists.

Alcoholic drinks $10
Non-alcoholic spiced cocktail $10
Softies $4
Water - always free 💧

Drink. Dance. Support independent art - and help keep the artists misbehaving. 😉

Coming early? There are plenty of places nearby for food or a pre-party lunch - Addison Road, MMC Pizza, Thai Bites, The Vic Hotel, Kicks Brewery (with a food truck) and The Henson are all options.

🎧Meet Jacq!

Heya, I’m Jacq!

In 2019, my partner Angie and I co-founded 1000 to 1 Projects - A collective of 12 women and non-binary DJs creating safe spaces and opportunities to play, dance and connect. Since then, we’ve thrown around 18 parties across Sydney, bringing queer community together through music, dance and love. 🖤

I’m super excited to be playing OFF THE RECORD.

Expect deep atmospheric grooves, old favourites, new obsessions, unexpected turns - and whatever else sneaks its way in.

Meet Me - Snow White / Coco, OTR Resident & The human behind the Idea!

That’s me going B2B with Matt from Oddbeat, who collaborated with me on our first OTR warehouse party🔥

OFF THE RECORD started in my backyard - DJs and friends bringing records, playing B2B, sharing food, dancing and hanging out. No tickets, no hype, no pressure. Just music and community.

The idea was to take that spirit and let it evolve - bringing different DJs, friends and collaborators into the mix while keeping music, connection and the dancefloor at its heart ♥️

That little gathering became the spark for OTR, and when it was time to take it out of the backyard and onto a public dance floor, Matt came on board and we built and promoted our first warehouse party together.

Matt's away travelling for this edition, so Harry has jumped in to collaborate with me as we take OTR into the daylight for our first Sunday Vinyl only session with Milkpaste and Jacq (1000 to 1) joining us behind the decks. ☀️

I’ve been DJing as Snow White for a long time, but I’m still a music lover and dancer first. For me, it’s always been about the selection, the feeling and where the dance floor takes us. 😉
