Izaac Smith is building from a place people do not always look first. A 2028 kicker from Sturgis, South Dakota, Izaac's path started with family, soccer roots, a Ray Guy book, and older brothers who helped teach him the craft. He became known as Legatron in PeeWee football. He hit pressure kicks as a freshman. He helped Sturgis push into a season that carried meaning for the whole program. Most kickers know the work nobody really sees. Empty field. A bag of balls. Kicking sticks in the turf. Reps taken alone because the full unit is not always available.
