Chicago-born artist AAM Sosa is giving fans a more personal look into his life.

The rapper recently took to his Instagram Story to share a heartfelt message reflecting on the loss of his grandfather and “pops,” opening up about the emotional impact both losses have had on him.

“When I lost my granddad you know he took a part of me 💔 Then I lost pops,” Sosa wrote. He continued by admitting that while he still cries over his losses, he doesn’t always allow people to see that side of him.

Sosa also touched on trust and vulnerability, writing, “So if I lie to you baby can you please pardon me,” giving fans an intimate glimpse into some of the emotions that have been influencing him personally.

But the Chicago artist wasn’t done there.

In another Story, Sosa shared a simple but telling message: “This music sh*t be saving my mental health 💔.”

The post comes as Sosa appears to be gearing up for another release. While he hasn’t revealed the full details of the teased track yet, his recent Stories suggest that new music could be on the way.

For Sosa, the music seems to be more than just another release — it’s becoming an outlet for processing life, loss and everything that comes with it.

New AAM Sosa on the way? 👀
