I’ve been excited to share this one - not only for such a fun, coastal design, but because of how special of a couple it was created for.

Hilton Head has been a special place for the Mills family, spending many summers enjoying the coast. Abby’s parents now fully live down there, making it the perfect spot for her and Tom to begin their marriage. They told me how they wanted their wedding to feel like being on vacation with all of their favorite people, so that was the inspiration throughout their design.

We kept things in a coastal palette of blues and greens with fun pops of hot pink. Wavy shapes, ticking stripes, and beach liner artwork continued the vibe of Hilton Head, transporting their guess to a coastal retreat. These two have become so dear to me and I could not be happier for them! Opening up these custom menus for K&M

Lia had the vision for a long skinny menu, but the horizontal way, so they could sit across the napkins. This trifold design was clean on the outside, tied shut with a hot pink rafia and calligraphy place cards. They could open to reveal a subtle ticking stripe, carried through several other stationery elements, and the full menu. taken in Chatham Bars Inn by @oflightandletters

Lesley & Tyler’s invitation suite was one that felt coastal but remained grounded. We pulled inspiration from the yacht club, the waterfront setting, and the natural hues found in coastal Maine in September. All my love to the Nivens! taken in Mere Point by @oflightandletters

The summer has flown by and I’m gearing up for the Fall stretch of my season. I am grateful to play a role in some incredible celebrations over the next two months as we round out the year. We’ll be all along the east coast, from Maine to Florida, for some kind, creative, and fun-loving couples. A personal bonus - late next week we’re off on a dream trip for the second half of the month!

Throwing it back to an old favorite suite. This editorial was held at a former theater turned event space, so I leaned into the character of the space. Degas’ ballerinas and fine art details brought the suite together in a balance of warmth, texture, and neutral hues.

A little Spring and a lot of coastal, for C&K. This suite actually started in a completely different direction. After seeing the first round, they knew it felt too formal and didn’t have enough of their fun-loving personality shine through. After seeing a similar suite I had produced in the past, Cassidy fell in love with that inspiration, and we revamped it for her.
