my whole college career was dedicated to studying racism in America alongside with majoring in business. Countless of books, attending rallies, town halls, open mics. Even my capstone for graduating business included @delucu.lbl I masterfully included race into it. with everything I did I sprinkled some light to racism with hopes to spark a conversation.

I learned from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. that the only true answer is Love. As a pastor he sprinkled his light to people that didn’t speak that Christian-talk. Peace, Love, Faith all words people understood but held more weight knowing it was God he was referring to (e.g. Peace be with you; you gotta have Faith)

@ofthesamevein was my solution that no matter what the color of your skin is, strip a person down, we are all created the same. the true enemy is not of the flesh but an energy.

An energy like racism can be fueled with Love or hate.
⠀
Jesus dealt w racism, he knew the pain. It was through his work of Love (defending a prostitute, feeding the homeless, caring for a leper, etc) he was able to change an energy like racism into Love. the blueprint is there.

This guy @djguamstyles is a brainiac when it comes to Vans. A true OG sneakerhead of the community. I randomly DM’d him about Waves of Grace and he immediately got on board. His platform @underthepalms helped create awareness of the sneaker project we were spearheading. Even at the end he managed to pull thru and get last minute sneakers for the kids that had sizing issues just before class ended. February was about the toughest message to comprehend. This is very much still a passion project so I'm grateful to have the freedom to take time, reflect, and focus on family. Everyone has their own timeline on healing. If someone talks to you about their perspective of that day, just listen.
