Time slows,
As the moment grows.
The unseen arose,
Beauty is beheld

“Beheld Beauty”
acrylic on canvas ~ sold

I just dropped this painting off at its sweet forever home 🌅 send me a DM if you want a print on your walls!

Life has been very overwhelming since my return to nursing but I’m finding my flow and ever grateful for the moments that slow at the canvas 🩵 by @oftheuniversearts

If tomorrow our sky is no longer blue,
my thoughts unraveled on paper
would prove true.

Fear is a ghost flitting swiftly around -
No place in my home for this ghoul to be found.

For Peace lies in my bed -
This moment I’ve been waiting for all along in my head.

Alas, Grief is cooking in the kitchen,
but soon we will be full.

Joy is in the walls -
a sound structure for these halls
that’s been building for years.

A nest has been made in this heart.
This Earth its temporary tree.

We were always meant to part.

So when the sky fills with shadows -
A sign of our misuse…

May it rest easy with us,
All freed from abuse.

🧚🌹

One week awayyy 💫

Very happy to be headed back to Shady Rest to live paint this year! I will have some original pieces hanging up in the gallery as well as some prints/tapestries/journals & stickers for sale near my roaming set up.

Swipe to see the painting I completed out of my vendors booth last year - it’s looking for a home and Luna Tuna would love it if you freed up some space on our walls 🐾

Can’t wait to reconnect with the wonderful beans I met last year and meet many new faces 🩵 see you soon!

Lightning in a Bottle!⚡️

Holy moly what a marathon. Start to finish in 5 hot & dusty days on the biggest canvas I’ve worked on yet was quite the learning experience. I am so grateful for all the support and advice I received along the way from some true legends. Big ups to all the talented artists who crushed this and to those behind @libfestival for throwing such an epic festival.

I want to thank everyone who showed love this past week! You made it all the more special 🩵 this piece sold but I will be making prints soon!

If only for a moment
Hope renews

As quick as it blooms
They fade from view

A whisper
That this moment alone now looms

Everything is temporary
The moments turn to memory
Yet the thread remains
Love will keep us sane

I am so grateful to be invited back to hang my art up in The Starlight Lounge this month 🧚 if you are in the Eugene area come visit and maybe sing karaoke amidst some of my newest creations. I wanted to make sure this viewing was completely different from the one this summer and haven’t even shared some of the paintings yet 🩵 the pieces will be up until November ends and are available to be purchased at the bar ✨ thank you @thestarlightlounge!
