One week into forever, and I’m still just so grateful to God for everything. Looking back at these past seven days, I’m honestly in awe of how He brought us together and how He’s leading us into this new chapter.
I’ve been feeling led to open up this space a bit more, so I’ll be sharing a lot more about our faith, the reality of building a Godly marriage, and all the lessons I’m learning in my professional life. As I take these quiet early morning walks, every step feels like a physical rhythm to the lyrics echoing in my heart: “I still believe everything spoken to me, there’s no word that will come back void, everything he will supply I will wait.”
If you’ve been needing a sign, let this be it: God sees you, and He hears you. He is the master of trading beauty for ashes, and these past few days have left me literally trembling at how unfailingly true His word is. Every promise He’s made holds weight.

This morning, I spent some time tidying up my kitchen specifically my plate rack, a space that tends to get overlooked. As I cleaned it, it brought back a memory:
Growing up, I was always the one handling the dishes at home. (Honestly, I’d choose washing plates over any other chore any day) Back then, my mum would randomly swing by to inspect my work based on three strict rules:
1. The soap check: Was the dishwater moderately foamy, or did I waste the soap?
2. The drying rule: Were the dishes fully dry before going back into the rack?
3. The ultimate test: “When last did you actually wash the plate rack itself?” 🤔

It made me think why does that last question matter so much?
Every single day, we use dishes, wash them, and stack them right back up. But most of us never pay attention to the hidden dust and buildup that accumulates in the rack over time, which can easily become a quiet health hazard.
