With unseen performance footage, rare S.U.C freestyles, behind-the-scenes clips, and an in-depth interview with Screw just weeks before his death, this documentary provides an intimate portrait of the mix-tape legend, and a glimpse into the world of the Screwed Up Click.The weekend marks “DJ Screw Day”, an international celebration of the late legend and his legacy. Known as “The Originator”, Screw pioneered the “Chopped & Screwed” sound of 1990’s Texas, and was one of the states most prolific and influential hip-hop artists. Despite his untimely death at 29 in the year 2000, his influence permeates Hip Hop culture to this day.Doors at 5:30pm, film starts at 7:00pm.
