Until next time with #HouriehRasouli. Through wordplay and shifts between words and images, the works examine the difficulty of fully understanding one another. In the encounter with a surpassing disaster, it is not simply image that disappears; the very possibility and conditions of its representation are also disrupted. What remains is a trace of the event: a decontextualized sign, suspended at the threshold between representation and abstraction. Fresh-Cut Flowers begins within this suspension; from what has been and what cannot be retrieved. Through acts of cropping, erasure and displacement, the images in this series are deferred; they are severed from their original context so that the distance between us and the disaster may become perceptible. These remnants, while fractured from the event, continue to carry its memory as well as the possibilities of its transformation. We are open 12-8 pm. - در رویارویی با فاجعه تنها تصویر نیست که از میان می‌رود؛ امکان و شرایط بازنمایی آن نیز مختل می‌شود. آنچه باقی می‌ماند، ردی از واقعه است؛ نشانه‌ای جداشده از زمینه که بر مرز بازنمایی و انتزاع معلق می‌ماند. «گل‌های تازه‌چین» از همین تعلیق آغاز می‌شود؛ از تصاویری میان آنچه بوده و آنچه دیگر قابل بازیابی نیست. تصاویر این مجموعه با برش، حذف و جابه‌جایی به تعویق می‌افتند؛ از زمینه‌ی اولیه‌ی خود کنده می‌شوند تا فاصله‌ی ما با فاجعه آشکار شود. این بقایا، در عین شکافتن از واقعه، همچنان حامل حافظه‌ی آن و امکان‌های دگرگونی‌اند. ‌دو روز پایانی بازدید نمایش‌‌ «گل‌های تازه‌چین» از پگاه بهادر و امیر اسفندیاری. گالری از ساعت ۱۲ تا ۸ شب باز است.⁩ taken in O Art Gallery گالری اُ by @ogallerytehran
