It’s hard to imagine anything in the world ever surpassing the energy of these last few days and the magic of two perfect days celebrating @ilanakruger & @johnnyfayad !!! The greatest gratitude to Ethan (you are effing amazing) and the entire staff of @finnbarjersey who were stupendous, kind, and sweet! A special thank you to those amazing travelers from Australia and Luxembourg and California and the other others who drove 2 to 4 hours to spend a night with us celebrating these two! Still so thankful and grateful to @catskillerorg for printing my words based on the art of the cinquain (a sequence based on a certain number of syllables in each line) along with a series of my floral collages, made with scraps, gel, prints, newspaper, and whatever else I have around the house that I can throw together. I did practice with the @dothe100dayproject , where I did a collage day for 100 days, which was really a fun creative project. It was actually a meditation and I would say 90% of the days. I did a collage early in the morning before I started my day out of those 100 days I would say 80 I also did a group of cinquains in my journal every morning. Those activities brought me a lot of joy and I’m grateful that their energy got to spread throughout the Catskill mountains in this lovely little magazine that offers a space to artists in the area.. #artislife #collage #poetry #meditation #practice by @ogdenkruger

Living with dogs is such an interesting life. Learning their personalities and understanding their communication. Being open to accepting the extreme amount of love that they provide! This is Milo. He’s a little over a year old and close to 85 pounds he likes to sit on my lap, which is quite a bit for a dog of this size. Sometimes he is so full of love. It’s hard to take and other times he seems to have a self-esteem problem and he backs up and backs away and is afraid to come in your space. I think there are some humans like that. I’m not sure. His sister Lily not pictured here is a fierce protector. I love my dogs all the time, though I must admit when they are wet and muddy and stinky I’d prefer them somewhere else.😂😂😂😂😂!!! #dogsrules #doglife #doglove #meandmydogs by @ogdenkruger

@dothe100dayproject has come to an end. I can’t believe it. I did 100 days of collages mostly with my own handmade papers though every once in a while, I went to a magazine or an old calendar recently when I was cleaning, I found a calendar I had from 2016, which was filled with these beautiful old Japanese woodblocks. It was fun to conclude this project in a completely different way than I was expecting, making a collage out of cut of woven pieces from the calendar. I didn’t even get to this until 10 o’clock at night because my day was busy and I knew I couldn’t go to bed without completing the project. Thank you so much all the people posting their work. It was so much fun to see everyone’s work and thank you so much for the hard work of those putting the #dothe100dayproject2026 together. This is my fourth year doing the process and maybe I would’ve created something every day and maybe I might not have but it really brought me a lot of joy!!! #createart #collageoftheday #practice #peace by @ogdenkruger
