CAMDEN BORN and BRED
FIANCÉ. FATHER. FRIEND❤️

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Today, I joined Congressman Donald Norcross, Camden County Commissioner Jeff Nash, EPA Region 2 Administrator Mike Martucci and our City Council members Fuentes, Barclay and Soria-Perez to announce a $2.5 million EPA brownfield grant for the site at 7th and Chestnut Streets in Bergen Square.

After removing more than 70,000 tons of dumped material, we’re taking the next step: cleaning up underground contamination and moving this land toward redevelopment.

Thank you to everyone helping us reclaim our neighborhoods. This work is about a cleaner Camden and a better quality of life for our families.

This week, we are joined by a special guest, Camden High Hoop legend Denny Brown. Long before he was creating the hit TV series @chasestreet_official_page, he was one of the most dominant players in NJ hoop history. Tap in (Link in bio)

Happy 19th Birthday to MY BOY…The Great Ché Brown!!!!!

It has been my distinct pleasure to be gifted with the privilege of being your Dad! As I always say, the greatest day of my life was Thursday, February 16th, at 4:31pm, in Camden, New Jersey, at Cooper Hospital, on the 3rd Floor, in Room 335 -and everyday since then has been greater than the previous day!

Continue to keep your eye on the prize, and never stop pushing toward the 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝 by @ogdennybrown

Me: “The Great Robert E. Johnson…and the ‘E’ stands for EXTRAORDINARY!”
Erskine: “My Main Man with the master plan!”

That’s how we greeted each other every time we got on the phone…and when I answered his calls, I knew I had to have at least 30-45 minutes set aside for the convo😂

Erskine was one of a kind:
Internationally Known, Nationally Recognized, and Locally Accepted-
He was the personification of this old Mack adage😎

His greatest gift was seeing perfection in the imperfect.
He could convince a blind, one-legged dog that they could win “Best In Show” at the Westminster Kennel Club.

He wore many hats: lawyer, actor, storyteller, model, musician, producer, talent manager…the man needed 5 heads😂

He would give you the shirt off his back and even more, if he had it. On the set of the original “Superfly” in the ‘70s, he took off his fur coat and gave it to Ron O’Neal for a scene -and let him keep it.

I’m going to miss my friend.

I sure hope they open Heaven’s Gates without hesitation for him.
And when they do, y’all know he’s going to hand his phone to Saint Peter and say, “Pete, my Main Man…can you get this picture of me, God, and JC before I go in?”😂
