At the beginning of February this year, on a little break from tour, we took a few days to hide away from the outside world with our producers @sjoerdrdevries & @rorydekievit - surrounded by water, wanting our songwriting and harmonies to sound like ebb and flow, smooth and strong at the same time. Our moodboard filled up with the color blue. Twin Flame emerged 🫧

wanted to give u a look into the process, documented by @lisa.roxanne 📹

setting the chords, sticking to two that we adored

one of the best parts: setting our harmonies !!!

gotta figure out what little accents should be here and there… working on pre-chorus here 🌊

while @itsshelley_celine and @amy_talitha were setting the chorus melody, i started scribbling down lyrics

bby yoda singin

brain errorrrrrr we needed two words to fill the sentence & she couldn’t think of ANYYYY 😭

recording keys, so gorgeous

games ‘n drinks 🥃🎲

sun was out & so was Shelley’s polaroid cam 📸

video of the verrrry start. First recordings framing the lay-out of the demo track

hearing our vocals isolated and realizing this HAD to be either the intro, a break or outro (it became the latter)

get ittttt get itttt

end result back in the @blueskiespublishing studios, dotting i’s and putting in some final touches 🌊

and now it’s part of our 1st EP / go check it ouuuttt 🫧🫧🫧🫧 by @ogene

🇺🇸 It feels surreal to finally be able to share this… i’m one of the candidates of the Dutch SURVIVOR 2026 😱🤭 And oh myyyy, what a crazy adventure this was. A dream turned into reality, watch it from november 1st on rtl 4 & VTM
