Kunu | Food and Beverages | 2026

Can something familiar feel new without losing what makes it familiar?

The drink was already part of everyday life. We wanted the brand to be, too. Yet Kunu is often presented differently from one place to another. It can end up in different containers with nothing to help people recognise the brand or remember where it came from.

We wanted to give Kunu a visual identity of its own.

We kept the word Kunu as the primary identifier because it is already familiar to the people who drink it. There was no need to replace that familiarity with a complicated symbol. Instead, we focused on making the wordmark distinctive, contemporary and easy to recognise.

It needed to sit confidently on bottles, labels, market shelves, signage and digital platforms without losing the connection to what people already know.
The goal was to move Kunu from being a familiar drink poured into random containers to being a product with a clear identity people can easily spot in the midst of other beverages.

We gave it a distinct language that brings consistency to the brand and gives it room to grow.

Have something familiar that could use a fresh expression? Let’s make it work.

A rebrand isn’t about changing things for the sake of change.
It’s about making sure what people see, feel and understand about your business is aligned with what your business has become and where it’s headed.

Your brand has a shelf life. Not because good branding suddenly becomes bad but because businesses evolve.

If you’ve experienced a few of these signs, it might be time to take another look at your brand.

We’re called growth partners for a reason. Send us a message now. 🌟 by @ogieate.tm

Afrotecture | Events | 2026

How do you pack thousands of years of history into a three-day event with a 20-year legacy?

We partnered with the Department of Architecture, Covenant University to develop the visual identity for Archi-Fuse 21, centred around this year’s theme, Afrotecture - a celebration of African identity, heritage, materials and contemporary architectural thought.

The goal was not to create a good logo. We developed a visual identity system that reinforced the event’s core theme while remaining deeply rooted in African cultural context. At the heart of the identity is the Afrotecture wordmark whose underlying structure draws inspiration from the iconic National Theatre, Lagos. Rather than referencing the landmark literally, we distilled its distinctive form into the skeletal framework of the mark, embedding architectural significance into the identity itself.

The scale of this project demanded that we created a visual system that independent designers outside of Ogieate could work with. From typography and colour behaviour to layout principles and graphic element, everything was documented as part of a scalable system that ensured consistency regardless of who was designing.

Every identity we create is an investment in what comes next. Afrotecture raised the standard for what Archi-Fuse 21 visuals could look like. That’s the work we do at Ogieate. Every project is a partnership between ambition and execution. Our role is simply to make sure the identity lives up to both.

We’ll bring life to your ideas. Send us a message now. 🌟

Ugoods | Retail Store | 2026

What would a superstore look like if it had personality?

Ugoods was imagined as a contemporary superstore brand built for a younger audience. One that sits at the intersection of accessibility, fun, culture, convenience and community. In a market where retail brands often feel transactional, Ugoods needed to feel human. Not just a place to shop but a place to discover, enjoy and connect.

Our role was to translate that vision into something people could instantly feel.

We uncovered what makes Ugoods unique. Its warmth, its accessibility, its bold Gen Z energy and its commitment to making customers feel invited the moment they engage with the brand. From there every design decision became intentional.

The “OO” in Ugoods transforms into a playful pair of eyes, with a smile beneath turning the logo into something almost character-like. It introduces emotion into the identity and gives the brand a face, literally. The eyes communicate curiosity, discovery and excitement.

Branding at this scale isn’t about decoration anymore but about creating a system that can scale across storefronts, packaging, signage, campaigns, merchandise and customer interaction while still feeling consistent and emotionally recognizable. You’re in luck because that’s why we started. We create visuals that connect, communicate and stay with people long after first contact.

We are ready, are you? Send us a message now. 🌟

We designed a presentation deck for a TED talk delivered by our creative lead, Daniel. The goal was to create a system that supported him quietly, intentionally and effectively.

We carefully considered the colours and created a visual identity that represented the TED brand and more importantly passed information to end users as effectively as possible. We reduced distractions and focused on one idea at a time.

In a live talk, the audience isn’t reading, they’re listening. The slides should never compete with the message.

That’s the difference between designing slides and designing communication.

Ogieate exists for work like this, where design enhances experiences and visuals become a tool for clarity, not noise.

Send us a message now. Let’s get started. 🌟
