A day before my birthday, I got to witness something I dreamed up come to life. ✨🫡

Usually, Not My CLT is me telling the story of somebody else’s vision. This time, it was mine.

Django: The Roots was a beautiful reminder that community is still alive and well. Live music echoing through the stable, pole performers leaving it all on the stage, vendors sharing their gifts, and people from all walks of life gathering under one roof.

There were a few moments where I stepped back and just watched it all happen. No camera. No hosting. Just gratitude.

Because for a second, I got to see what everyone else was seeing.

An idea became an experience.

Thank you to every performer, vendor, musician, volunteer, and attendee who helped bring this vision to life. Y’all didn’t just come to an event you became part of the story.❤️

A day before my birthday, I received one of the greatest gifts possible: proof that the things we imagine can become real.
