My sweet girl,

One year ago today, you came into my life and changed everything. I didn’t know a heart could stretch the way mine has this past year. From your very first cry to your sleepy smiles and the way your tiny fingers wrap around mine, you have filled every corner of my world with a love I didn’t even know was possible.
This year has been a blur of lullabies, late nights, first giggles, and wobbly first steps toward becoming who you are. I’ve memorized the sound of your laugh, the sparkle in your eyes when you discover something new, and the peaceful rhythm of your breathing when you fall asleep on my chest. Those moments are treasures I will carry with me forever.
You are only one year old, but you have already taught me so much — about patience, about joy in the smallest things, and about a love so deep it feels endless. Watching you grow has been the greatest privilege of my life. Every milestone feels like both a celebration and a gentle reminder that time is moving faster than I’d like.
My beautiful daughter, I hope you always feel how deeply you are loved. I hope you grow up knowing you are safe, cherished, and capable of anything. I promise to be there for you — to guide you, protect you, cheer for you, and hold you whenever you need it.
