I think I found my 2026 book winner of the year. New Chapel by @lunadaywrites has it all: found family (sisterhood), fated mates, runic magic, all the healing from past trauma, cults, and oh yeah he calls her “sparrow”. I was glued to every page, and I’m still not over it.

@bissettsbookishbliss has the best taste in books I tell ya. I finished the book last night and want to read it again already.

Happy Pub Day to @katrinacalandra and her latest release, The Garnet Daughter! I absolutely loved The Viridian Priestess and Cerulean Sister, which follows two other characters (99th Commander and Ferren) so of course when Katrina announced that the third book would follow Calliape and August, I was all in. Black cat x golden retriever? Yes. Always yes.

I love that this book delves into two other important characters in the world, and are given the depth they also deserve (they're just as charming as Ferren and 99). Katrina has mastered pulling you in with emotions and making you see the world Calliape and August exist in. Really, Just a perfect book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ no hesitation, no questions.

I could go on and on, but it would probably be jumbled words and I'm still recovering from this book. Thank you to Katrina for providing me an ARC before release day! I can't wait to pick up the physical copy to add to my physical copies.

It’s been a while since I posted anything here! This is one of my favourites of 2025 so far, Ninth House from Leigh Bardugo. I thoroughly enjoyed my first foray into dark academia, and I’m already wanting to pick up book two. Alex was incredibly smart, and used every skill she had to solve the mystery. The twists had me twisting. There are triggers in the book so I would highly recommend looking them up before proceeding. But overall a very good book!

Personal rings have joined the family! Like so many others, rings were the first planner I dabbled in. But I remember not utilizing them in a way that would benefit me. Today it acts as a mini-journal, habit tracker, finance tracker, and more. I’m loving how I can switch things around when I need to, and add or subtract when something no longer works.

Going into 2025, rings (personal and pocket) will probably be my ride or die. I’m so excited! Cover is the Filofax Norfolk in Espresso.

Happy Friday friends! I’m really excited to start this book by @kaylsmoon that I saw in Indigo. I’m excited to start a new book after a few duds I read, and I heard really good things about this spicy series! Maybe once I’m done I can show my annotation key? I’m finding I can retain things about my books better because I annotate!

Pocket rings have entered the chat! I’ve been using rings since the beginning of August and it’s been a real game changer for me. I love that I can keep what I need, archive what I don’t need, and add when I want too. Currently using the (discontinued) Filofax Ranger for going out and the Filofax Malden in Charcoal for weekends.

I love this e-reader sleeve by @thequirkycupcollective! It fits my Kobo Libra Colour when it has the clear case on, and a pocket where I can keep my Kobo pencil, a screen wipe, and any annotating supplies when I have a physical book on the go. It’s beautifully crafted and the tassel feels strong compared to other ones on other bookmarks.

A great purchase! Highly reccomend if you are looking for a cute zipper case!

And thus, she joined the pocket ring planner group. I was really excited to see that the Charcoal Malden pocket planner from @officialfilofax was on sale, so I took the plunge. I already really like how compact it is, and that I can change the layouts as they benefit me. I’m excited to collage a little in it with inspo!

Journal catch up while reading my ARC of @katrinacalandra’s newest novel, The Cerulean Sister. My first ARC from my favourite author (thank you Katrina)! I’m only 13% right now, but I love the immediate world building and the return of my favourite fictional couple. I read book one (The Viridian Priestess) earlier this year and it captivated me immediately. Hoping to have a review out before this beauty comes out! 💙🤍

Slowly catching up on my trip to Jasper. This trip was phenomenal because I was able to see so much more wildlife, such as bears. 🐻 I’m just letting the ink dry before I start colouring things in (I haven’t decided if it will be in pencil crayon or mildliner). Two of the tapes are by the lovely @nicole.josephine (the quilt pattern one and the tape at the bottom).
