A legacy built over decades⏳🏒

We’ve been working on this project since last year, and we’re thrilled to finally share our updated Okanagan Hockey Group timeline — a look back at the milestones, people, and some of the many alumni who have shaped our journey across Canada, the U.S., and Europe.

A major milestone came in 2010, when we expanded Okanagan Hockey Academy to introduce our first female team. Fast forward to today, and we’re proud to have two female teams at OHA and the addition of OHA Edmonton’s first female team in 2024-25.

From the founding of Okanagan Hockey Camps and Okanagan Hockey Academy, to the expansion of Okanagan Hockey Europe, OHA Edmonton, Okanagan Hockey Ontario, Okanagan Hockey Colorado, our partnership with the WHL to launch the WHL Combines, and the creation of the Okanagan Hockey Community Foundation — each step has been about advancing the game and supporting student-athletes in reaching their highest potential.

A huge thank-you to Tara Simpson for bringing this history to life through her incredible design work. 🙌

Here’s to celebrating where we’ve been — and where we’re going. #OkanaganHockey by @oha_edmonton

Our U15 Prep crew recently put their own group together for the Terry Fox Run, and absolutely showed up for the cause. 👏

Together, they raised $1,245 for the Terry Fox Foundation, with the largest donation made to Vimy Ridge! @vimyacademy 🙌

And because a little friendly competition never hurts… they earned themselves a pizza party as well. 🍕🏃‍♂️

Proud of this crew for coming together, giving back and carrying Terry’s legacy forward. ❤️
