🐾 ARIANA 🐾
Ray ( @cyclesin ) and Aimee Thomas ( @leashestoleads ) are great friends of mine. I've known Aimee for years now, and Ray had given me the pleasure of tattooing one of their fur babies. Ariana is their beautiful weimaraner (and has the best sassy looks)! Our reference photo was taken by the talented Adam Gold ( @agoldphoto )! He is located in Tampa and does wonderful work. Adam takes photos of pups in shelters to help them get adopted, and the results show! Check out his page if you have a moment!
Our animals are so important to us, so I understand the level of trust it takes to have a portrait like this done. Thank you so much, Ray, for trusting me to do this piece! Can't wait to do the next one! Stay tuned 👀

💜 INKED NYC - ROUND 3 💜

I don’t even really know how to write this post. This wasn’t just a work trip. I went with my mother-in-law, Lisa, and during our visit, we were able to spread some of Grandma Marie's ashes. We went to places that meant something to her and just stood there for a while. No rush. No real words for it. Just being there with her.

It’s strange trying to balance something like that with everything else going on around you. One moment you’re in your head, the next you’re right back into the noise of the city like nothing happened.

Mom and I spent a lot of time together this week. She took me to see Wicked, we walked everywhere, did a food tour, ate way too much, talked about everything and nothing. I'm forever grateful to have had her with me.

At Inked, I got to come back into something familiar. Working with the Inked team is always a blast. It was fantastic getting to see everyone again! Shoutout to my bestie Shasta for always making me feel welcomed and safe 💖

I also got to see my friends again, which felt like a small full-circle moment in the middle of everything.

I missed Shanna the whole time. In the quiet moments especially. The ones you wish you could just turn and share with your person.

I don’t know. This trip just sat with me differently. It was good and heavy all at the same time. I'm probably still processing it all to be honest.

I’ve been navigating and carrying a lot in my personal life lately and this trip helped. It felt healing. Like the weight I’ve been carrying got a little lighter.

I never thought my career would get to this point. Let alone regularly going to NY.

It’s kind of surreal when I think about it. Going from a kid with crayons... to this.

And I know I didn’t get here by myself. Every family member, friend, client. You all played a part in this. Every time someone sits in my chair, it’s a reminder that I’m being trusted with something permanent. That’s not something I’ll ever take lightly.

It’s been a wild ride. It still is.

Thank you for being a part of it.

I’m going to keep showing up, keep learning, and keep trying to be better every single day.

🌿🪲 CREEPY CRAWLIES 🪲🌿

This sleeve has been a long process in the making but I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!!! 🖤 This botanical, buggy, watercolor sleeve was made for my wonderful friend Crystal. Some of the work on this sleeve is a couple years old, and I'm so pleased with how everything came together. It's been so fun to see how the work on this project has progressed as I've grown as an artist. 🖤

👁✨️ ITS BRITTANY'S DITCH ✨️👁

This custom hand drawn eye was placed on my good friend Brittany's knee ditch. We are cooking up a mytsical and witchy leg sleeve I can't wait to show you guys. It's getting closer to spooky season so I'm loving all the witchy, horror, and gothic inspired pieces! 🖤 It truly is such an honor curating custom pieces. When I'm not in the shop tattooing, handling correspondence, or in class practicing Jujitsu... I'm spending my time perfecting each piece no matter how big or small to make it just right. I love what I do and I love having the ability to create permanence. I can't thank everyone enough for your trust. 🖤

🦈 WHALE... IT'S A SHARK! 🦈

This whale shark made its splashing appearance on JJ's arm! This little guy, who isn't so little in nature, is a part of JJ's underwater sleeve. So far, we have a humpback whale, an orca, and now this whale shark! I had so much fun making all of the tiny details on this beautiful creature. Positioning it in a way that complements the other pieces was rewarding as well! You guys know me and know I have a great love and appreciation for sea life, so any day I get to tattoo an aquatic animal is a good day in my book. 🖤

🌸⚔️ The Warrior Within ⚔️🌸

I had such a good time creating this samurai for Brian’s inner bicep! I absolutely love how this piece came together. From the details in the somen mask to the stitching in the armor, every little element in this piece was curated with care!🖤 The inner bicep is one of my favorite peek a boo locations. Even though it's a concealed location, it's so satisfying tie everything together. I can't to show you guys the whole sleeve!

🦋 Stained Glass In Flight 🦋

I had the privilege of making this stained glass inspired butterfly for my client Kathleen. Let me tell you, getting a foot tattoo is no small feat, no pun intended. Foot tattoos are notoriously a painful spot, but Kathleen handled this like a warrior. I'm so happy with how this piece turned out. Regardless of how well a person sits the foot is such spicy and twitchy spot, and Kathleen handled this like a champ. I love how the color turned out, and how well it fits the area!🖤

🌸🐍 THE INNOCENT FLOWER 🌸🐍

For my good friend Sarah 🖤 This piece is a homage to a popular story some of you may know, Macbeth. For those of you who don't know Sarah, she is doing the good fight for us all, she's a high school English teacher! She was in the 2024 publication of 40 under 40 as well as voted teacher of the year in her schoo last year!🖤 As you can tell, she's passionate about was she does. 🖤 Sarah and Josh are one some of the sweetest most down to earth people I've met. Sarah's husband Josh is a professional photographer. I've been fortunate enough to have worked with on some of my shoots and during his time at Ocala Magazine! One the best parts of my job is just getting to meet so many awesome people from different walks of life. I love being able to tattoo a teacher, photographer, nurse, veterinarian, you name it. All of your stories mean so much to me, and its such an honor to be a little part of yours! 🥹

🦇🖤 NO REST FOR THE WICKED 🖤🦇

Partially a little throwback with some new additions! This Dungeons & Dragons piece was done for my great friend Jess. We did this Strahd inspired tattoo a little while ago🦇, which then turned into this awesome sleeve I can't wait to show you guys! In this last session I did some touch ups on Strahd's face, and started a watercolor background that we're going to use to tie everything together! 🖤 I had so much fun with this piece!!!! Give me anything vampy, gothic, or spooky and I'm a happy camper! 🧛‍♀️🖤

🌺🦗 SHE'S A MANEATER 🦗🌺

It's a flower, a leaf, no... It's an orchid mantis! These beautiful bugs originated in the Southeast Asian rainforest. Now there is one occupying my good friend Katie's leg! This is a part of her unusual animals and bugs leg sleeve and this mantis filled this blank spot perfectly! All of her pieces have been healing so beautifully, she's on top of her aftercare game!!🖤 It means a lot to me that you guys dedicate the time to give your tattoos proper aftercare. Aftercare is truly such an essential for the longevity of a tattoo. If you ever have questions regarding the aftercare process never hesitate to reach out to me or the shop! 🖤

🦎🌿 AROUND THE BEND 🌿🦎

Bring it around tooowwnnnn, or this case around the elbow! This whimsical salamander on top of some foiliage was done on tough as nails Erin! I love how this piece turned out. The way it frames the elbow scratches a good itch in my brain. 🖤 Sometimes I feel like a villian when you guys allow me to tattoo these sensitive spots, but I feel like so many cute placements are so spicy! 😭 When I got my elbow done I thought it was going to send me to a different dimension, it sucked! 😂
