10 years… 10 freaking YEARS!! 🤯🥺 Yesterday marked the 10 year anniversary of having to close the biggest, most influential, and memorable chapter of my life. Disney was my life, my everything. The people I worked with were my closest friends, they were my family. But on January 10, 2016 we hung up our costumes, and said goodbye to the place we called home for so many years. 9 years in that show… 9 years of friendships and shenanigans 😆 Truly honored to have been a part of such an iconic show 🩵🥰 Hopefully one day I can be a CM again… 🤞🏼🥹

Wowowowowow 🥰🥰 I’ve always been a @davidarchie fan, but getting a pic with him was something I never DREAMED was a possibility.

About 10-ish years ago, he came to Disneyland and saw the Aladdin show. That particular performance, I was the stunt Aladdin and was flying on the carpet overhead. I remember the stunt Jasmine and I joking that we hoped the carpet would accidentally fault (aka stop) over the audience so that we could stare dreamily at him. And then it actually freaking happened 😆 We ended up being more embarrassed than excited because the show carried on while we awkwardly hung there for a couple minutes until the techs could hoist us back up lmao 😂 Always wanted to tell him that story and see if remembers that show 🥰 Thanks for an unforgettable night! 🫶🏼🩵

This past weekend was SO needed with this amazing group of friends. I work so much that I often forget to take time for myself. The number of laughs we had this weekend was immeasurable and I feel like my soul was reset 🥰 So much love to this group! 🩵

Last night, I was sitting at the bar at @urbanmos when this man approached me and handed me a large paper folded in half. He smiled and said “I just wanted you to have this.” I opened it up and saw this amazing drawing he did of me! I’ve never been more flattered by a random act of kindness! Thank you so much @alexfizix for totally making my night! 🥹🫶🏼🩵

‼️*TRIGGER WARNING*⚠️ (Also long post 😅)

As some of you know, and many of you probably don’t, I have been battling with body dysmorphia for a couple years now. Please understand, I am VERY aware that we are all built differently and we should love ourselves as we are. But please also understand that we all have different goals. This is NOT intended to shame anyone for their looks. I fully embrace everyone’s self love! This is nothing more than my personal journey. ☺️

I won’t share numbers because this isn’t about specifics, it’s about reaching our goals. I used to always be proud of the shape I was in. I was no model or Olympian by ANY stretch, but I was athletic and flexible. Covid hit and I gained 10-15 lbs and lost my flexibility. Luckily, I lost most of the weight, but my ego took a huge blow. Then I got hired at my current job where I, over time, gained about 20 lbs. This caused a constant battle with depression as I could no longer be proud of what I saw in the mirror. I stopped taking my shirt off in the clubs, stopped going to the beach… I just hated myself. To add salt on the wound, I also struggled to find motivation to better myself. So I was just lost in this void of self hate and disgust. 😞

But you guys saved me. You helped me out of my void and gave me motivation. While your encouragement didn’t necessarily make me change my views on how I felt about myself, your words DID prompt a drive. Your words lit a flame I thought was dead. And as of this morning, I’m SO proud to say, I reached my goal! 🙌🏼 Finally, I feel the confidence I once had. Now I can focus on my definition and flexibility 💪🏼, but you helped me achieve the hardest part. For that, I am forever grateful 🥹🙏🏼

And we’re just in time for Pride weekend! 🏳️‍🌈😂🙌🏼
