another year to be a light. another year of wisdom, joy despite the circumstances, and a spirit rooted in kindness. you’ve shown your hand, yet always wore your heart on your sleeve. you’ve lost everything and gained it back tenfold. you deserve every good thing this world has to offer, and i am so proud of the woman you’ve become.

keep being you in a world that often chooses the opposite. keep growing, healing, and striving to become even better. your momma would be so proud.
