Kinda ćhic …..Not to give a shit & wing it all!

I will not post all the time- or at the ‘right’ time.

I probably won’t follow trends - but will contradict myself.

I will definitely swear!

I will make mistakes but will be honest!

I will make friends …. But fully aware social media is not the real world 🫶🏼 by @ohhnooreno

I just can’t sit still and wait for all the big jobs to be complete - so I’m taking on this tiny bathroom.

My daughter won’t use it as it’s haunted apparently 🙈

I am never going to be one of those people who says “we bought the worst house on the street”. Because we didn’t.

We bought the best house on the street.

It had quirks, it had faults, it wasn’t perfect. But we never wanted a ready made home!

From the moment we walked through the front door- it felt like home.

We had the choice between our house and a house on the same road, but we both love a challenge & wanted to restore it to what it was many years before: A happy family home with kids, pets, wine and 20 million arguments daily!

Anyway I’m glad you are on this journey with us- hopefully you can laugh along whilst we argue over my refusal to paint the house grey.

So before the UK gets very wet, I wanted to get someone in to cut back as much of the bush and dead trees as possible- just to at least show us what we are working with.
Next step de-weed …. And turn over ready for the spring - the we will get the mini digger in … yay!

We have found a shit tonne of crazy features and hidden gems such as a Japanese acer, vintage Belfast sink used as a planter, Humpty Dumpty and gargoyles!

I’m trying to convince my husband that due to climate change we need a cocktail pool 🤣

Welcome to our first big Reno project!

Whether you genuinely love all things Reno, you are simply here to be nosey ( totally ok) ……or you want to see us fail massively while saying constantly “ How hard can it be though”.

Welcome to the OHH NOO RENO!

Work will commence after I can find my way through this sea of bubble wrap!! And hearing “I’m bored every 5 minutes”! 🤣
