I've been thinking and I have a lot of adjectives that I could use to describe my emotions about the fact that some city officials, and others, in #covingtonga decided to let envy and middle school levels of immaturity get in the way of events that have brought a ton of joy and a LOAD of revenue to their city that wouldn't have been there otherwise. Instead, I'm going to focus on the positives. @homesuitesalvatore brought a whole lot of amazing experiences to a ton of us who wouldn't have ever had the opportunity to do things like this with people we look up to so much. More than that, they brought together a community of some of the best fans/people I've ever met. I've been to A LOT of conventions and VIP opportunities, brushed elbows and hung out with plenty of "famous" people, have even had them pay ME for MY time (iykyk). Nothing will ever compare to the experiences I had at HSS. Contrary to what the city council and mayor might say, I have never once gotten the vibe that anyone at HSS was ever doing this just to profit, or to turn the town into a "tourist trap" (though, I'd love a PowerPoint presentation from the mayor as to what, exactly, Covington, GA offers beyond TVD that every other Covington in the south doesn't, but I digress). Instead, what I've found at the HSS events I went to was a sense of belonging, a sense of community, and a real understanding of what actually allows the talent to connect with their fans and enjoy their time on a personal level. From my experience, even the talent has enjoyed their time at HSS more than a standard convention. I refuse to believe that this is the end of the style of events that HSS provides, or that this is the end of this team being the ones to lead them. I, personally, won't let this be the end of seeing @courtney.ratherbie @bethann.farmdiaries leading events and @thebrunadiariess doing the socials for said events. Maybe in this particular location, maybe in this venue, it's the end, but overall? No way. This is just the beginning. This team is doing an amazing thing, not unleashing chaos or ripping people off, regardless of whatever bullshit false claims some people want to spew. #IStandWithHSS by @ohhsnap_me
I've been trying all weekend to gather the words, and still, I feel I'll fall short of where my emotions currently lay.... @homesuitesalvatore is so much more than a place.....this place and all the people who created it and fill it with so much love and devotion and care have carved such a special place in my heart and my memories that I know will last until my final breath. The experiences and memories I've forged here couldn't possibly have been created anywhere else, especially not with the feeling of comfort, and family, and HOME that I always get here. Every moment that people like @bethann.farmdiaries @courtney.ratherbie @thebrunadiariess @siirine_a @freshwurld @katgraham @lifeofrileyv @kaylaewell @mkmalarkey @christopher_m_brochu @aliceevansgruff @sebastianroche @misspersiawhite @therealjosephmorgan brought to us all are totally unforgettable. I've laughed and smiled more during these HSS events than during most of the rest of my life, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity for these moments and the friendships I've made throughout them. WHEN, not if, the next HSS event takes place, I am beyond excited to see everyone there. Everyone here holds a special place in my heart, and everyone deserves the type of experiences and opportunities and love and care I've found here. Truly, putting the HOME in the name. 💜💜💜 -Jazzy #homesuitesalvatore #HSS #TVD #thevampirediaries #beyondtheveil by @ohhsnap_me

For those not on my Snapchat, I've gotten artsy lately! I've also gotten a new OCD fixation in the form of the Disney Descendants franchise. So now I'm experimenting with Dollar Tree paint and a $30 Target bookshelf. It's definitely not perfect, but I'm loving the results as someone who's painfully lacking in this particular kind of artistic inclination. #Descendants #Disney #ArtsAndCrafts #Art #Paint #DisneyDescendants #Artwork #OCD #FirstTry #TakeOne #LongLiveEvil #RottenToTheCore #Maleficent #Crafts #CraftProject #DIY #DIYHomeDecor #Stencilstuff #Painting by @ohhsnap_me

Managed to get a single good pic before the show, and before my trip went further to shit. Stoked beyond belief that I finally got to see @m_shinoda again, but I totally remember why I moved out of New Orleans in the first place. That whole city is just choked in such a toxic air most of the time. I can't even breathe through my anxiety when I'm there. Here's hoping I can get back to going to shows in states with less toxicity soon. #NOLA #NewOrleans #EmeraldCity #HouseOfBlues #Linkinpark #MikeShinoda #greeneyes #greeneyedgirl #bff #bffs #smile #happy #fornow #anxiety #depression #toxicity #bestfriends #hearteyes #BourbonStreet #drinks #bar #concert by @ohhsnap_me

I've been trying to work out what exactly I was going to say about the second close friend I've lost in as many months, and I think the message I sent to a few friends sums it up the best. No hashtags on this one. It's just for him. Eight years ago, a friend of mine asked me if I really wanted to wrestle, and I said hell yea. He walked me over and pointed out this bright blonde headed guy sitting a distance away, and he says, that's Brian Christopher. He's the guy you'll want to talk to. So I went over and introduced myself. I had no idea I was letting this fucking tornado into my life that would flip it, and me, on my head. From near riots in Tuckerman, AR, to concussions in Memphis and Jackson, to first birthday cakes ever, to whoop that trick chants in flea markets, to Katy Perry radar, to conversations that got way too deep way too fast, Brian Christopher changed me, always for the better. When I see him in the next life, wherever that is, I'm popping the goggles on HIS face this time. I'mma miss this goofy guy. by @ohhsnap_me
