My crew forever. 🧡🥹

Words can’t express how proud I am of my son, John, and the progress he’s made over the past couple of months. From adjusting to a new school to attending strength and conditioning sessions and football practices right afterward, he’s been showing up and putting in the work! Some days, he comes home completely exhausted, but he still gets up the next day and does it all over again. 💪🏽🏈

Watching his dedication, discipline, and growth has made me one proud mama. It’s not always easy, but he continues to push himself, and we couldn’t be prouder of the young man he’s becoming.

We see your hard work, son, and we’ll always be in your corner, cheering you on! No matter where life takes you, just know that your family will ALWAYS be proud of you. We love you, John! 🧡🥹 by @ohjv58

Today is P-day, and Elder asked me to send him this song he wrote and performed back in 2023. 🙏🏻🥹 So of course, I had to dig it up and give my missionary his throwback! ❤️

It’s crazy to think how much has changed since he performed this. Now he’s out serving the Lord and sharing his testimony through his own music and words. 🥹🙏🏻

5 weeks of running❤️

Today felt different. For the first time, I genuinely wanted to get out there and run. I don’t even know how to explain it, but my body actually craved a run, and I LOVE that for myself. 🥰

I had a goal when I started this journey, but I’ve realized that I need to be patient with my body. It’s been years of unhealthy eating and giving up on any kind of movement, which I know isn’t great 😂 What can I say? I was enjoying food a little too much 🤦🏽‍♀️ But we’re here now, and we’re running, jogging, and walking 😂 I’m in my 30s, trying to become a runner, so let me live! LOL.

Anyways, happy Wednesday! :)

He wanted me to give you all a little update he’s doing great! 🥹💙 He loves the work, loves the people of El Salvador, and is happy to be serving. He definitely has his hard days, but overall, he loves it so much! It’s been so fun to see his goofy side come out during his mission. 😂
