‎Adaeze of Mumbai‎‎293 hours of intentional work is the Adaeze of Mumbai dress! ‎Paisleys symbolise Rebirth and new beginnings in Indian decorative Repertoire. However, it is a highly repetitive pattern, present in a lot of heavily decorated George wrappers worn by the Igbos, and what way to reimagine an iconic symbol but to mix it with cyclic and linear Uli shapes to create a fresh perspective on ornate decorative work. ‎‎The result is a drop waisted lace dress, encrusted with SWAROVSKI crystals and completely covered with custom laser cut velvet work in a unique complex pattern which we call The “OKILIKILI” Videography @pauliremide by @ohlanna.bu.zikora
