It took losing a lot of what I had built my identity around to realize that home was never something I could find outside of myself.

We’re all still growing and figuring it out, but we don’t have to do it alone. I’m building this space for us to feel seen, understood, and inspired by each other, follow along and let’s grow together. đŸ€ by @ohlilywhy

Sometimes the hardest part of a Dark Night of the Soul is you don’t even know what’s happening, you just know the life you knew doesn’t feel the same anymore.

I created the Rebuild Starter Kit for that exact moment.
For when something big has ended or shifted.
This kit can help you get grounded again with more clarity before trying to figure out everything that comes next.

If this is where you are right now, I’d really love for you to have it.
It’s completely free (for nowđŸ˜œïŒ‰ comment REBUILD and my little bot đŸ€– will send it straight to your DMs đŸ€ by @ohlilywhy

We get one little human body to experience this whole thing through. A vessel to feel, move, play, and express whatever is alive in us.
Even if I dance like a malfunctioning sim, I’m still gonna take up space.
Life is already weird enough, might as well have fun with itđŸ€ by @ohlilywhy

Breakups hurt, and you don’t need to figure everything out right now. Start small with these 7 little steps:

1. Stop reopening the wound for information.
Checking their socials rarely gives you the answer you’re actually looking for.

2. Stabilize your body.
Eat, sleep, walk, breathe, cry, shout, move. Heartbreak isn’t only happening inside your thoughts, emotions are energy that needs to move through the body first.

3. Let yourself grieve the future too.
You’re not only missing a person. You’re grieving the life you imagined with them. Give yourself permission to let it go.

4. Write down what wasn’t working.
Your brain will romanticize the relationship when you’re lonely. Give yourself factual truth to return to.

5. Don’t make their decision your identity.
“This person didn’t choose this relationship” and “I’m not worthy of love” are completely different things.

6. Notice what you abandoned while loving them.
Friends? Hobbies? Boundaries? Dreams? Yourself? Start bringing those pieces back to your life.

7. Don’t rush to become a new person.
You don’t need the glow up immediately. Grieve first. Rebuild slowly.

Healing isn’t linear. Some days you’ll feel like yourself again, and the next day you might feel like it’s back to square one. It’s completely normal, be gentle with yourself and let it take all the time it takes. You got this! by @ohlilywhy

After my last post about rejection, I got quite a few messages from people going through heartbreak, so I decided to make this for you.

I’m not saying heartbreak doesn’t sucks, or that we need to find meaning in it while we’re still hurting.

But I do want to show you what else I think it can be. And hopefully reveal a perspective of what it might be opening up in you.

If you’re in the trenches right now, I hope this can give you a little comfort. I’m here for youđŸ€ by @ohlilywhy

Rejection hurts. But the story you tell yourself after can hurt so much more.
Someone not choosing you doesn’t have to become a reason to question your worth.

Let it hurt without making it mean something about who you are. đŸ€ by @ohlilywhy

I think most of the time we forget that life is allowed to be a little silly and unnecessary sometimes.
Not everything needs to make sense or be productive. Sometimes you just need to do something random, follow your curiosity, romanticize the little things and remember how weird and magical it is that we’re even here.

Life is more fun with a little whimsy ✹

A few reframes I keep coming back to

Save this for the next time life feels a little heavyđŸ«¶đŸ» by @ohlilywhy

If you’re starting over, save these:

1. Don’t rebuild while you’re still in survival mode.
Stabilize first. Big decisions look different when you’re no longer just trying to survive.

2. Don’t immediately replace everything you lost.
Loneliness can make the wrong things look right. Give yourself time to know what you actually want back.

3. Make fewer “forever” decisions.
Choose what works for this season. You’re allowed to change your mind as you change.

4. Separate what you missed from what you actually want.
When we lose something, we can romanticize it. Ask yourself: Do I genuinely want this back, or do I just miss the familiarity?

5. Treat uncertainty as information-gathering time.
You don’t need all the answers yet. Try things, meet people, go places, and notice what each experience teaches you.

6. Follow what gives you energy before trying to define your purpose.
Pay attention to what makes you feel curious and alive. Those little pulls can lead you somewhere before you understand why.

7. Don’t measure your new life against the timeline of your old one.
You’re not starting from the same place or as the same person. Your new chapter gets to move at its own pace.

8. Leave some space unfilled.
Don’t rush to fill every gap with another person, job, or plan. Sometimes you need the empty space to discover what you actually want next.

If you’re in a big life transition and figuring out who you are on the other side, follow along đŸ€ by @ohlilywhy

It feels very vulnerable admitting all of this while I’m still very much in the middle of figuring it out. But I think that’s also exactly why I wanted to share it.

When you work on your fear on being seen, what you’re actually working on is the limitations that you’ve been carrying your entire life, that been holding you back to be who you truly are.
You are healing shame, healing too muchness and not enoughenss.

And it begins by understand that those stories are not yours to begin with.
When you do the work to change those stories, what you’re doing is removing those boxes and walls, so you get to know who you really are without limitation.
And when you do that there is a ripple effect where you begin to understand that some other area of your life too, you may started to built less from a place of what you think you need to do to feel safe, but from a place of what you truly want. xx by @ohlilywhy
