Growing up in a family of teachers, Bangkok-based designer Sirawitch Saramunee explores the expectations of following an inherited path through a collection that transforms familiar symbols of education into contemporary fashion. Drawing from teachers’ uniforms, educational culture, and academic ceremonies, the project reinterprets these influences with modern silhouettes, thoughtful detailing, and innovative techniques, offering a fresh perspective on tradition and identity. Created as part of Sirawitch’s studies at Srinakharinwirot University, the collection reflects a personal narrative shaped by heritage and design.
