woke up so blessed, thankful and grateful to be HOME the morning of my mother’s birthday!!! my line of work doesn’t always allow us to be home “on time” or attend the plans we look forward to but today IS NOT one of those days, Thank You God! 🙌🏼

my mom is a real country lady that’s been working in her garden since I was a kid. over the few years she’s been slowly growing veggies and fruit right in the backyard…today I had to go check on things since she hasn’t been able to.

she said it’s some watermelon growing but truthfully I may or may not have spotted them😂🤷🏽‍♀️ — I just love seeing whatever grow and we pick them to later on add them to a meal 😊😋

Social media and Internet breaks, as well as Therapy helps hip hop recording artist and songwriter @ohnyeneek reprogram.

life’s latest dealings has me rethinking so much…

I can’t even begin to share thoughts at the moment…

my heart is way too heavy, too vulnerable to truly open up…

but with all that life is giving me, I’m finding small moments to feel light, to be grateful for my able body, to sing unapologetically out of range, to stay centered and to simply exist (to be.)

last week I accomplished yet another goal of mine — hosting my very own writers camp! ✨

due to my “9-5” and always being on the go, I admit that I don’t have the mental, emotional, creative or even physical energy/capacity to create these days. So instead of making excuses or waiting 10 years to produce another project, I leaned on my people and resources. ✨

some traveled state lines, doubled back home through Atlanta traffic to grab extra equipment and even catered more food than purchased!!! ✨

when I say I’m SO GRATEFUL & appreciative of the people that showed up FOR ME, I’m OVERLY GRATEFUL!!! 🙌🏼✨

a little bts of making one the favs off my debut EP In The Meantime…

when I pulled up to @nofeargenre home studio in BHam, I didn’t expect to leave with the vibe that is now 90’s Flow. I didn’t know @journitheartist or knew that she was heavily involved with my folks I started this music shxt with.

the way the universe just made this happen out of a simple “you know her?” Is still mind blowing to me. Journi didn’t hesitate to pull up, get comfortable and scat her ass off on MY TRACK !!!! I did not expect that. But I’m so appreciative of her support and gifts. This won’t be the last time we collaborate.

it’s been a little over a year since my #PCOS diagnosis & I’m extremely grateful to be able to put a “what” to what changes are happening to my body.

one of those things that I was struggling with understanding and wondering “why?” was the facial/neck hair. I must say it was probably the more insecure part of it all…over the weight gain & cystic acne!!!

maybe about twice a week if not daily , I’m having an intense tweeze session. trying to get every bit of hair OUT!!!!! crazy thing it’s a bit therapeutic lol the relief of not having facial hair just feels good.

in the next year I hope to rid this unwanted hair for good.

If I told y’all I started to get discouraged, would you believe me??? But then @fashnme_ came across the ONLY poster that survived & quickly reassured me that I’m doing just fine and will continue to. I’m human w/ feelings lol … it be like that sometimes. 🤷🏽‍♀️

FINALLY reached the halfway mark to releasing my first EP In The Meantime… on streaming platforms. the goal is 50 sales, currently at 25 🎉🎉🥂

breaks are necessary but don’t EVER think I’ma give up on ME, myself or my goals!!! came too far to stop now.

being an independent artist means that the artist is “the machine” aka the record label soooo of course that means I gotta get from behind the phone screen & get IN THE FIELD!!!! baby steps but I’m doing it.
