💜 **October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.** 💜

Behind closed doors, so many women are fighting battles the world knows nothing about. Some are silently suffering, some are trying to escape, and some are trying to heal from things they never deserved to experience.

**Women deserve to feel SAFE — not scared. Protected — not controlled. Loved — not abused.**

We need to do more than raise awareness. We need to believe survivors, protect women, support those trying to leave, and hold abusers accountable. No woman should have to fear for her life in the place where she should feel safest. No woman should have to choose between her safety and the life she deserves to live.

Domestic violence is not just physical. It can be emotional, psychological, verbal, and financial. The bruises you can’t see can hurt just as deeply as the ones you can.

To every woman silently fighting, rebuilding, healing, or trying to find her way out: **YOU MATTER. YOUR LIFE MATTERS. YOU DESERVE PEACE. YOU DESERVE PROTECTION. YOU DESERVE TO LIVE WITHOUT FEAR.** 💜

And to anyone who knows a woman going through it, please don’t judge her for staying or question her for leaving. Be a safe place. Listen. Believe her. Support her.

Let’s stop asking women why they didn’t leave and start asking why they weren’t protected.
