DEATH XIIIPart 1 of my entries into the @illustrationguild.ecu ‘s card themed zine for 2026 :) I wanted to explore the transformative nature of the card as a metaphor for being… well, trans. as all my art does lmao. I especially wanted to capture the uncomfortable pain of realizing you’re growing into something you were told you weren’t supposed to be, with the wings ripping out of the girl’s back.#posterart #illustration #artistsoninstagram #alt #tarot by @ohskylo

Grow UpHandwoven on TC2 jacquard loom2026In 2011 and 2012, my childhood home was destroyed by back-to-back hurricanes Sandy and Irene. I lost my favorite stuffed animal in the floods, a big unicorn gifted to me by my brother when I was a baby.This piece, along with the rest of my show Tangible Memories, is on display at ECU’s Wellington B.
