A new era for Oh So Belle 🤍

After a few years, it felt like time for a little refresh and I’m so excited to finally share it with you.

I wanted something that feels more like me, a little more timeless, and something that reflects where I see Oh So Belle going next.

While working on the new branding, it made me think about why I called my business Oh So Belle in the first place, and if you swipe along you'll see just who inspired it 🤍

Belle was my very first dog and truly was one of the loves of my life, my soul dog. I think about her every single day, and when I started my business, naming it after her felt like a little way of keeping her with me🪽

I wanted to carry her with me through this part of my life, and having her name at the heart of my business meant that she would always be a part of it too ✨

Knowing Belle means “beautiful” in French just made everything fall into place, it felt perfect for a brow and beauty business 🤍

A little hello from me 🤍

If we haven’t met before, I’m Alex, the face behind Oh So Belle.

I actually started Oh So Belle back in 2022 as a little side hobby alongside teaching. I never really expected it to become what it is now, but over time I realised that teaching just wasn’t making me happy anymore, and this little side hobby was the thing I genuinely looked forward to.

So I took the leap, and somehow it’s grown into a much bigger part of my life than I ever imagined ✨

I specialise in brow treatments and Korean lash lifts, but what I really love is creating treatments around the person in my chair. I’m always looking at the little details, from the natural hair and shape to the products and techniques that will give the best result for you 🫧

I’m also always learning. I love trying new techniques, learning about different products and treatments and finding ways to keep improving and upskilling. There’s always something new to learn in this industry!

When I’m not in the salon, life is pretty much all about my baby girl Freya, my partner Alex (yes, there are two Alex’s in our house 😂) and our dogs Teddy and Polly 🤍

I’m usually listening to Taylor Swift, reading something, or both. I love a good thriller or detective book, but I’m also very much in my Romantasy era 💗📚

Oh So Belle has changed a lot over the years and I’m really excited about where it’s heading next ✨

Some of my favourite brows to date 🤎

Brow lami has always been my favourite treatment to do, but after my masterclass with @tonimcevoy , I feel like I’ve fallen in love with it all over again 🤍

I've learned so much that has totally changed the game for me and even the tiniest adjustments to my technique have made such a difference to the finished result 🪄

I’m always learning and looking for ways to improve my work, and I honestly think it shows in these brows. So if it’s been a while since I’ve seen you, you're in for a treat at your next appointment 🫶🏼

First time lami for my client and what a beautiful result it is! 🪄

One thing I always say to my first time lami clients is that it can take a little bit of getting used to seeing your brows this way.

They’re going to look fuller, more lifted and more defined than you’re used to, and with a tint, they’ll naturally look darker to begin with too.

It’s a change, so don’t panic if you look in the mirror and think your brows look bigger than you expected. Trust the process and give them a few days, let the tint soften and have a play around with how you like to style them 🤍

The aim is still to keep them looking like your brows, just fuller, fluffier and much easier to style 🤎

Of course, some clients (and me!) absolutely love them immediately after when they are sleek and dark, it's all about preference! 🤎

Brow Lamination Magic 🪄

This set was all about creating more balance and fullness while still keeping Charlotte’s brows looking completely natural 🤎

We worked on the sparser areas through the fronts and bodies, creating more fullness by lifting and redirecting the existing hairs, while adding more definition through the tails to balance the overall shape.

The result is a much more lifted, fuller and defined brow without making them feel too heavy 😍

Brow lamination really is so much more than just brushing the hairs upwards ✨

The hairs have been redirected to create a more balanced shape and give the brows that fluffy, effortless finish that makes such a difference!

This is why I love a good brow lamination! It works with what you already have, just making the most of your natural brow. My absolute favourite treatment to carry out without a doubt 🤍

We used a hybrid stain to fill in and disguise the sparser front of one brow, just helping to bring the two brows into a little more balance for a perfect end result 🪄

I have so many clients come to me saying they have no lashes or really short lashes and don't think a lash lift will give them much of a result!

The reality most of the time is they absolutely have lashes that will lift. They’re just straight or growing downwards, so you can’t see their full length! ✨

A good lash lift can completely change that.

These are a few of my recent Korean lash lift results 🤍

I tailor the lift to your natural lashes, choosing the shield based on their length, direction and the result we’re going for. It’s not about making every lash as lifted as possible, it’s about creating the right lift to really open up the eyes and show off the lashes you already have, that will also grow out beautifully 🤍

Before I even pick up my tweezers, I want to know what you like, what you don’t like and what you’re hoping to get from your appointment.

I’m looking at your natural brow shape, the way your hairs grow, your features and what I think will suit you 🫧

I’m always investing in my knowledge and training too, trying new techniques and keeping up with what’s new in the industry. I love learning and finding little ways to improve how I work ✨

So from the products I use to the techniques I use and the end result, everything is tailored around you.

I don’t want every brow to follow the exact same process. Sometimes you need to make a little adjustment, sometimes you need to leave something alone, and sometimes less really is more ✨

It’s all those little things that make the difference 🪄

Take a peek at what I've been up to, a day I've been waiting for for a long time 🤎

6 hour round trip yesterday for a higher education course with the one and only @tonimcevoy and my goodness what a course it was!

Spent the day being grilled within an inch of my life, learning the most current, advanced techniques there are in brow lamination from the best there is, and lots of laughs in between 🤍

I will always choose Toni to upskill with (third timer 😅) because there truly is no one like her, she truly does is the best there is and that's what I will always strive to bring to my clients! (If you swipe to see the brows we created at the end, you'll see that for yourself 😉)

We're entering a whole new era of Oh So Belle Brows, and I couldn't be more excited to bring you along with me 🥹

Also, so glad to be the first to get these BEAUTIFUL new certificates and manuals 😅🤎 fully completing my collection 😅
